It's been an interesting few weeks with the guys. They took me cliff jumping the other day, which was a total rush. I got to hear the stories again about the tribe and cold ones. When Sam explained to me what an imprint was, I told him that we had something similar but it was called a Twin Flame. Oh, that reminds me. Jared imprinted on a girl named Kim. She is a girl that is in one of his classes at school and they apparently had a crush on each other for years, but they were too scared to say anything to each other. I remember the day he came barging in the house all excited.

*Flashback*

Emily is teaching me how to make blueberry muffins until Jared randomly barged through the door of the house with a big smile on his face. I thought it was going to fall off with how hard he opened it.

"What's with that big smile on your face Jared?" I walked out of the kitchen and toward him when he didn't say anything. "Jared, is everything okay?" I walked up to me, picked me up still with a huge smile on his face and twirled me around before putting me back down.

"Today is a wonderful day! The weather is nice and I am so glad that you are here Grace. You have showed me a whole new meaning to life and to never take things for granted." He did a huge sigh, looked at me and continued to smile. Okay, what? New meaning to life? I'm confused and he is starting to freak me out but I'm just going to go along with it.

"I'm glad that I could help Jared." I then looked at Emily and she gave me a confused look. All I could do was shrug my shoulders. Instead of saying anything else, he sat down at the table and grabbed an apple that was sitting on the table. He was only sitting down for a few minutes before Sam entered the house.

"Oh great! Jared, you're here! I need you to take Embry's shift tonight because his mom is getting suspicious about what he's doing so I'm letting him stay home tonight." Instead of Jared complaining like he usually does, he looked at Sam for a moment before saying something.

"Okay." Sam just looked at Jared all shocked because he didn't complain or moan about doing an extra shift. He then looked at Emily and me for an explanation. All we could do is shrug our shoulders and told him we didn't know what has gotten into him.

Later that night, when Jared finally phased, Sam was able to see why he was acting strange. He imprinted. We were all excited when Sam told us the news. Now we just had to figure out when he would be telling her about all of us. He ended up breaking after only a week because he didn't want to hide anything from her. She took things pretty well. She asked questions and we all answered them honestly and the best that we could.

*End of Flashback*

I am no closer to trying to get home. Kathy has been trying the best she can, but she's not having any luck. She hasn't had any luck asking her dad because he's constantly a no show. I can't blame him though because he is trying to keep everything in order and get everyone situated.

We were currently sitting around chatting at Emily's house until the guys randomly jumped up from their seat and ran out the door. I looked at Emily and asked her if she knew what that was about.

"We will find out once they come back. You better get used to that because they will do that sometimes." I just nodded my head. After about an hour, all of them are walking in with someone new following them. New shifter maybe? I decided to ask.

"New shifter Sam?"

"Yep. This here is Embry." Emily and I say hi to him and he says hi back. We start chatting with each other while Sam tells him about patrol schedules, telling him what I am and why I know about wolves. After he gets done, Embry just stands there staying quiet and not moving so I try to ease his worries.
