Elliot drew in a deep breath. his heart raced. he closed his eyes and bent over. a gun blasted. it scared him if to death but he knew what it meant. the race had started. he took of like a feet sunk in the sand. every step was harder than the last, but he pushed forward. his playground buds were catching up to him,  it he was faster. he looked back and started to get cocky. then he tripped over a crab and fell down a hill. he got up and dusted off his shorts. he looked up. he was pretty far down. So Elliot walked along the shore line. he past some rocks, then fell in shock.

He got up and tried to shut his mouth. Lying on the beach, was a lady. Well, lady ish. She had the upper torso of a lady. But her hips and below was a fish tail. Her skin as covered in a thick scaley substance.

Wait  Elliot thought those are scales!!

He fell back again and crab walked away. Then he cautiously stood up and stumbled over to the mermaid. She started to sing. He voice was beautiful and metallic.

Love is the dagger of life
You fall for the person who swoons you
The winds of love blow you in every direction
Love is like metal
To hot and you burn

Elliot was walking steadily towards her now. He was under her trance.

Take a swim with love
Take a dip with heart
Loving can be so much fun
When swimming with a  witch

Then she grabbed Elliot's shoulders and drug him under the water. Her blue tail splashed as Elliot struggled to break free. His lungs were about to explode. He had no way of get to the surface. The mermaid threw him into a cave of some sort. The last thing Elliot saw of the beautiful creature was her evil (yet marvelous) smile. Then he blacked out.
