Finally getting in the car and drove off to the restaurant. "When we reached, we gave the key to the valet and headed inside to be seated. When we were seated, Winter found herself comfortable on Davian's lap.

"Look at her, all snuggled up on you already," I said with a smile, watching the two of them interact with each other. It made me know in my heart that Winter was going to be a true daddy's girl if/when we can legally make her ours.

Leaving them to interact, I pulled out my phone and decided to decide to book a few appointments for Winter. Knowing that we could not take her to a public hospital yet, since Davian just brought her here without documentation.

Going through my contacts and calling one of my friends who owns a private clinic, after calling and telling her about Winter's situation and what's been going on she thought it best to do the check-up at home since she would be much, more comfortable with it.

"After lunch, they headed home, excited to introduce Winter to the boys. As they pulled into the driveway, Adeline could see they were there because all the extra cars were in the driveway. She took a deep breath, preparing herself for the chaos that was about to ensue.

"Okay, baby, I know that you're not really up for meeting new people but, the people you're about to meet are our kids. I wanted them to come and meet you since you're someone special to us," I said to her through the rearview mirror. Reaching my hand back and squeezing her tiny foot to reassure her that there was nothing to be afraid of.

"She's right baby, remember that me and Ade will be with you through the whole process okay," Davian told her from the driver's seat. I could see that she was twirling her fingers together. Blowing out a quick breath before getting out of the car and getting Winter out as well.

When I tried to place her down she started to whine which led me to believe that she was still nervous. Holding her close as we made our way inside.

"It's okay, baby. They might seem scary at first, but I can promise you that they will be the best big brothers and they'll always protect you," Davian reassured her, as he placed a hand on her back and gently rubbed it in a circle. "Just remember, if you feel overwhelmed you can always come to me or Davian."

Winter nodded again, peeking her head out as we walked into the house. After taking our shoes off and walking to the living room, I motioned at Davian to go and get the boys, who were most likely eating in the kitchen.

Sitting on the couch and positioning Winter so that she could see, but her head still found its way back into my neck. After a minute or two we could hear the sound of footsteps coming in our direction.

Feeling her grip tighten on me as I rubbed her belly softly. Watching as the boys walked in nearly noticing her since they were making so much noise walking into the room together.

When they were all finally sitting, just as I began to talk. "Mom why did you call us here, you know I have practice after," Adelio said as he was leaning back.

Glancing around the room, seeing that they weren't taking this seriously I had to show them that I wasn't playing with them.

"BOYS, put your phone down and look at your mother immediately!" Davian said looking at Kain, Declan, Sylas, Kavish, and Adelio who jumped at the sound of their father suddenly raising his voice at them.

The room fell silent, with all eyes now on me. I took a deep breath, trying to keep my cool. "As I was saying, we have someone special that we want you to meet. This is Winter. She is going to be staying with us for a while until we say otherwise."

"And let me help you understand this, even though most of you don't live here anymore I still expect you all to treat Winter with love as if she was your real sister. Am I clear on that?" I said in a tone that I know they wouldn't dare question.

Watching as their eyes were glued to Winter who seemed to have fallen asleep during the time. "Great, moving on you'll get to meet her fully when she wakes up but, for now, can you guys go and bring her things from the trunks and take them to the room that's next to me and your father's," I asked politely watching as they were already making their way outside.

Grabbing my purse before heading upstairs to my room to put Winter down for her nap.

"Hey, how did it go?" Davian asked as I over to the couch that was in our room.

"It went well. They're all excited to meet her," I replied, sitting down next to him on the couch.

"I'm glad to hear that. I know they'll love her just as much as we do," he said, putting his arm around me and pulling me close.

"I know they will. And I know that we're making the right decision in keeping her," I said, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Definitely. She's already brought so much joy into our lives. I can't imagine going back now," he agreed.

"Me neither. I'm so grateful that we found her," I said, feeling happy and content.

"Me too, baby. Me too," he replied, kissing the top of my head.

We sat there in silence for a moment, enjoying each other's company and thinking about how much our lives had changed in such a short time.

"I'm so happy, Davian. Happier than I've been in a long time," I said, turning to look at him.

"Me too, Ade. I feel like I've finally found what was missing in my life," he replied, looking at me with so much love in his eyes.

"I feel the same way. I love you," I said, leaning in to kiss him.

"I love you too," he replied, deepening the kiss.

We sat there kissing for a few moments, enjoying the love that we shared and the little girl who had brought us even closer together.

After a few moments, we pulled away and just sat there looking at each other.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you that Seanna is going to be coming over here tomorrow to give winter a chance up," I said running my hands through his hair.

opening his mouth to answer me when we were met with a loud thud that shook the entire house. Feeling my eyes roll into the back of my head from this. "I swear I'm going to hurt them one of these days."
