7 YEARS LATER.

Someone- 51! Americano!

Eunji - it’s me . Thank you. 

Taking her coffee from the cafe, she leaves for her office.

She walks in her office , gets greeted by everyone. Nobody knew that she was the daughter of the owner of the company. She was a simple employee there. Manager of the marketing team 2. 

IT’s been 7 years since eunji left for america. Nobody was able to contact her except her parents. She asked them not to tell anyone that she is in contact with them. Everyone was busy with their work now.  They weren’t college students anymore. Taehyung and So Hyun were handling their parent's company. Soo young was head of a department in a well known company. Ji woo opened her own brand 3 years ago which is a success now . She is a fashion designer. Woo Sik was in his mother’s company. Han bin started his career in modelling 5 years ago and is a well known model in Korea and England too. Everyone is engaged in their life but they still miss eunji. And wonders why she left?

In America -

Eunji - Mingyu, can you assist me in this project?

Mingyu - of course. Let’s go.

Eunji’s phone rings.

Eunji - wait- you go, i’ll be there in a minute.

Mingyu - ok.

On call- 

Eunji - hello?

Mrs Park - eunji?

Eunji - hi mom. 

Mrs Park - i have to tell you something.

Eunji - what is it? Is something wrong? Mom please don’t ask me to come back. I have already told you so many times.

Mrs Park - listen to me eunji first.

Eunji - ok .

Mrs Park - I think you should come to korea this time.

Eunji - mom-

Mrs Park - ji woo is getting married. 

Eunji - what?

Mrs Park - Hanbin and Ji Woo just gave us an invitation for their wedding. It’s 2 weeks later. You should come. It’s your best friend's wedding. Go to their wedding and give them a blessing. She was there in your worst time. You should congratulate her once. 

Eunji - mom. I- I can’t.

Mrs Park - eunji.

Eunji - Mom, I am late for a meeting. I’ll talk to you later. Bye.

Mrs Park - eunj-

She hangs up the call.

Eunji - they are getting married.

Mingyu - eunji!!

Eunji - coming.

She goes to the meeting room and discusses their new product. 

Mingyu - eunji. I think this suits our product. And- eunji? Hello?

Eunji was lost in her thoughts- yes? Oh yeah- sorry. What were you saying?

Mingyu - what happened?

Eunij - nothing. Well i think this product-

Mingyu turns her chair towards him - what’s wrong? Ever since you got that call. You seem distracted. Everything is okay?

Eunji sighs - nope.

Mingyu - what happened?

Eunji - it was my mother- my best friend is getting married whom I haven’t talked to for  7 years. I did something for which I don’t think so , I can go.

Mingyu - even if you did something. She is your best friend. She’ll forgive you.

Eunji - it’s not just her. I- i just-

Mingyu - don’t think much . just go. Don’t think about the future. You should give blessing to the couple. Go.

Eunji - I should?

Mingyu - yeah.

Eunji - okay.

Mingyu - ok i’ll book ticket for you to go-

Eunji - no. I’ll do it myself.

Mingyu - you sure?

Eunji - yes . Now let’s complete the meeting.

Mingyu - yes.

Eunji ( should I really go?).

In Korea-

Mr Park - what did she say?

Mrs Park - she isn’t coming .

Mr Park - I can't believe it. We haven’t seen our daughter for 7 years. Something must have happened that day for her to react like that. I really miss her.

Mrs Park - I still remember how much Taehyung cried that day. I haven’t seen his smile since she left. He really loves her. But-

Mr Park - It’s ok. Our daughter will come one day.

POV Soo young - 

Soo young - I can’t believe you are getting married. You guys were dating for 15 years. Damn I thought you would definitely break up one day.

Ji woo - yaaah! How can you think that? Do you still wanna be my maid  of honour or not?

Soo young - haha sorry. I always used to think that in your wedding - eunji and I will be the maid of honour together. We will prepare for your wedding together . but-

Ji woo - I really wish she was here. I miss her.

They both hug each other.

Han bin - ok did we miss something?

Woo sik - nah it’s better that we are away from them. At weddings, girls cry a lot. 

So hyun - right. We do not want to be part of their crying party.

Ji woo – we are not crying for no reason ok. 

Soo young - we were missing eunji.

Woo sik - eunji?  We miss her too.

So hyun - yeah. 7 years without her nagging at me. It’s still unreal.

Hanbin - she left without even saying goodbye.

Woo sik - the person who misses her the most still refuses to miss her. We all can see in his eyes. How much he misses her.

So Hyun - he pours all his pain into overwork himself. He is dumb.

Taehyung - who?

Woo Sik - oh Taehyung you are here?

So Hyun - the- the woo sik is dumb. 

Woo Sik - what?

Taehyung - congratulations ji woo and hanbin for your wedding.

Ji woo - thankyou. And yeah Taehyung, mark my wedding date in your calendar If you miss it I'll kill you.

Hanbin - yes she will.

Taehyung - no worry. I won't. I have already taken off from the office 3 days before your wedding. So wht were you guys talking about?

Soo young - eun- theme park.

Taehyung - what?

Soo young - the amusement park. They were telling me where to go on a date.

Taehyung - nice. Well I'll leave now. I have meetings. So Hyun you have work right.
