YNS POV

It had been 3 days I didn't do much other than train and help Clarke out as much I could. I also helped Bellamy with doing things here and there. I woke up a little later than usual. I got up grabbing my jacket and putting on my shoes. The first thing I hear walking out is a loud groan. I turn to the direction it came from, the drop ship. My eyes softened a little. I truly felt so bad that Jasper is going through so much pain. And there wasn't anything I could do to relieve him of his pain. But maybe there's something I can do to help Clarke in treating him.

As soon as I got inside the drop shit I heard a lot of complaints from people about Jasper and him not letting people sleep. I glared at all of them "Well if it annoys you so much the exit to the drop ship is that way. And if it were any of you up there would you want us to leave you for dead. Or potentially save your life." My voice was clear and strict making sure everyone knew I meant business. They stayed quiet after that, no one daring to speak up against me. So I took it as a sign to climb up to the second floor.

"Hey" Clarke said to me giving me a sad smile. She was sitting next to Jasper. I knew she probably didn't get much sleep since her eyes were heavy. I saw Monty in the corner working on something, he turned his gaze to be and gave me a smile and a wave which I returned.

"Hey. How's he doing?" I asked. I knew he wasn't great but maybe he was progressing.

"Still not so great, I was able to stop the bleeding though. He still has a fever." She said as she watched me come sit next to her. I only hummed in response.

"You should go get some sleep." I said trying to get her to sleep. "I'll watch him, I don't mind. Besides you can't help him if you're not at your best right?" I said to her. I saw she was about to contradict me so I lifted my hand in protest. "It's okay. You need to rest. Don't worry, I'll be a great nurse. I'll be here taking care of him. When you come back I'll go out and see if I can find some herbs I know are great for fevers and pain." She sat there contemplating if she should leave or not. She glanced back at Monty who only nodded and gave a small smile.

"Fine, but if anything happens you come get me immediately." She said.

"Yeah I will." I said. With that she pushed up from where she was sitting and walked towards the ladder shooting me and Monty a glance before climbing down. I changed the warm cloth on Jasper head, putting in a new one. I scanned over his injuries, a small frown on my lips. I then turned my attention to the boy who was focused on god knows what. "What you working on?" I asked curiously.

"I'm trying to find a way to contact the ark using our wristbands." He said, not once taking off his gaze from the item he was working on. I hummed at him not wanting to distract him more from his work. "Thank you by the way." He said softly turning his gaze to me for a quick second before turning it back.

Again, another person thanking me for something I didn't know. "For what exactly?" I asked not moving my gaze from the working boy.

"For saving my friends. Clarke told me what happened and told me you only went because I said you'd help." He spoke softly.

"I see. You don't have to thank me for that. Besides, I think you and Jasper are pretty cool and I couldn't just stay here knowing some I know is hurt out there and I can do something about." I said he seemed a little surprised at my statement. A small comfortable silence fell upon us, him working on the device and me taking care of Jasper. There was the occasional noises Jasper would make. Just then I heard footsteps and saw Finn who just finished climbing the ladder. "Hey." I said giving him a little smile. Which he returned before looking around a little. "Clarke's not here right now I sent her to bed." I said to him as he walked over to me.
