Chapter three

Optimus pov:

I'm glad she didn't suspect anything. She needs to take better care of herself. I can't believe she doesn't think she is beautiful, she is the most beautiful femme I've seen since, well since elita-one. I can't help but stare at her sleeping figure but I'm soon interrupted by her moving around, snuggling into the seats. It tickles and makes me blush a bit. "Optimus!" A voice come from my com-link "where are you?" It's Ratchet, "I was confused for a truck and I'm now hooked to a trailer. I will get back as soon as possible." I explained to him. He growled irritatedly. The com shut of and I sighed with relief when I saw Sophia hadn't woken up.

Sophia pov:

I groan, Dotty is nibbling my ear, I swat at her playfully and she proceeds to bite on my hand. "Lil tacker." I tease playing and chuckle at Thunder's jealousy. I pick him up, and kiss his head. I pet them both for a bit, and smile. I step out to use the restroom and ironically enough I see Anna and miss Lennox. "Are y'all following me?" I ask jokingly. Anna immediately noticed Dotty, "Who is that?" She asked curiously. "This is Dotty, she darted out into the middle of the road and I bumped her." I say a bit guiltily. Miss Lennox looks at me with understanding. She hugged me and whispered in my ear "we are being stalked, I saw your truck and came for help." I looked and nodded curtly. "So where y'all headed?" I asked as if nothing happened. "To see daddy in his Millie-Tarie base!" Anna says excitedly Thunder in her arms. I smile "that's wonderful! Is it in Kanas City? Or someplace close?" I asked and I could see mrs.Lennox relaxing a bit. "Yeah, Oklahoma." I smile, "ironically I'm GOING to Oklahoma, not kidding." I smile at her "really?" Anna asked hopefully. I nod, "if your mom is okay with it, you can ride with me in the truck today." She looked at her mom with the biggest most hopeful eyes. Her mom chuckled "okay, if it's not too much trouble." I smile bigger. "Just go in front of my truck and lead the way! I'm early for my delivery by two days, so I got time." I explain truthfully. We walk into the dinner as a police car pulls in. Mrs.Lennox tenses, "I will protect you both with my life, he won't be able to touch you." I growl protectively. She smiles gratefully, "I'll buy you two breaky, my treat!" I say happily but at the same time not up for discussion. Mrs.Lennox sighed "Thank you." I smile at her. "It's what friends do." She hugs me and I hug back.

After we finish and I pay, a 'officer' walked in. "Mam, you and your daughter have to come outside with me." He says sternly. I stand up and put my body between them. "You need an arrest warrant and a real badge first, sir." I growl dangerously. He takes a step back, caught off guard by my declaration. "Your badge number isn't even a real one, I've seen it on Amazon, the one you are wearing is fake, so unless you want me to get some REAL officers here..." Dotty comes out and stands by me with a man, taller than the stalker and more muscular as well. "This is my son, he will throw you out if you won't leave." She says defensively. I smile and get in a fighting stance. "So...you wanna go?" I smile wickedly at his anger. He doesn't say another word and leaves, entering his vehicle and drove away. I hug Dotty. "Thanks for the backup." She hugs back "I can't let a mother and child get taken away in MY dinner, especially if I can help."

We drive on the highway and Anna is kicking her legs and talking about her dad, and his Military life. "And he works with REAL aliens!" I nod, the engine makes a sputtering noise, like when you spit out a drink. I'll have to check on that later "oh really?" Ignoring the noise, She nods "yeah! They are so cool!" I giggle she is so imaginative. "That's very cool." I say to her and she nods in agreement. "One looks like this truck and his name is Op-tea-moose..." she had to sound it out, and I had to hold back a giggle, failing miserably. "Prime!" She smiled as she made up the name. I grin "he sounds nice." She nodded intensely.

Soon after she passed out. I pet her head a bit. "Too bad it's just your imagination, I wish that could be real..." I yawned as well. Mrs.Lennox and I pulled into a rest stop, I got out. "Let's switch, just in case that guy comes back, I'll be in your car, so you will be able to escape if he comes with back up." I explained and she looked at me with worry, I already knew what she was going to say. I comfortingly add "I'll be fine, I can defend myself." I place a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you so much, you hardly know us and you're helping so much." I smile at her "don't thank me, it's what I do, I help those who need it. You currently need it. So therefore as your friend and current bodyguard I will protect you." I hug her. She cries a bit "you're so sweet." I wave her off "now go to sleep, everything will be okay."
