In Shinjuku, Susanoo was walking around the shopping district with Satoru as it was his turn to take care of him. Susanoo wore a dark blue winter jacket, grey pants, and grey winter boots, while Satoru wore a grey scarf around his neck, a black coat, and dark blue pants.
It was the end of the year but the beginning of a new one. Satoru was excited to celebrate the new year with his family.

There were only four minutes until New Year's, so Susanoo and Satoru flew onto a building to see the fireworks representing the new year. Satoru looked down at the crowd walking beneath.
Susanoo: "Don't get too close to the edge, Satoru" Satoru: "Hai!"
Susanoo checked his watch, noticing two minutes left until the New Year's fireworks started. Susanoo then asked Satoru what he intended to do for the new year, to which Satoru told him that he didn't know what he wanted to do except that he wanted to spend more time with his family, making Susanoo smile. Susanoo then told Satoru that the fireworks would be starting soon, prompting Satoru to look forward and wait for the countdown to begin!

Susanoo turns to Satoru and tells him Happy New Year, which Satoru reciprocates with a smile before continuing to watch the fireworks. A magic communication circle appeared near Susanoo's left ear, surprising him since he hadn't expected a call from someone before recalling that today was Satoru's birthday, well, his first birthday party anyway.
