Chapter 4.5: Karma of Nakiri

In the household of the Nakiri Clan, six individuals were walking down the corridor of the manor, talking to each other. There were two elderly men in their late forties, and three men in their late twenties, but among them was a teenage boy in his mid to late teens (16), he had sharp yet relaxed eyes, black short hair.

???: "Is Momiji safe?"

???: "Yes she is Nakagami— No, Ouryuu-kun but we haven't found anything to help her yet"

???: "Ouryuu-san, we understand your reason for wanting to keep your sister safe by sealing her away but—"

Ouryuu: "But nothing! The other members of the clan much less the other principal clans mustn't know that Momiji possesses a Scared Gear from the Christan Pantheon!"

???: "We understand that!"

???: "Son as the next the head of the Nakiri Clan you must put your responsibilities as the next head first!"

???: "Haruo is right! The succession ceremony will happen in a weeks time so you must prepare yourself! After all you and your actions represent the Nakiri in the future!"

Ouryyu: *sighs* ".....Understood"

Haruo places his hand on his son's shoulder and told him to focus on the responsibilities of the Nakiri and that he'll handle thing with Momiji which makes Ouryuu to smile. As the group arrived at the entrance of the isolated barrier Ouryuu stepped forward and took a deep breath before entering the isolation barrier however unbeknownst to the group, a subordinate of Tsukiyomi was following them. The god noticed that the group had entered the barrier and wonders if it was a personalized barrier but realizes that it was an isolated barrier which inturiged him.

Inside of the isolation barrier, was the size of the Tokyo Dome area and was where the Nakiri kept their treasures and dangerous items from the outside world. The barrier, both the sky and ground, was bright white and in the centre was a magnificent Shinto shrine which had ten barrier layers surrounding the shrine. Ouryuu walked towards the shrine's door but when he slides open the shoji door however inside the shrine was a nine-year-old girl who was playing a game on a Nintendo. Inside the shrine there were various books, manga and empty snack bags scattered on the floor, the girl looks up from her game briefly noticing that Ouryuu had opened the door before she quickly looked back down at the game she was playing as if he wasn't there.

Ouryuu: "...Hey Mo—"

Momiji: "When can I leave Nakagami-nii?"

Ouryuu: "...Well...uh...that's—"

Momiji: "It's been two years since I was put in here you know and I'm sick of being kept in here!"

Ouryuu: "Ah, well we're still looking for away to help you and when we fin—"

Momiji: "Don't you mean if?" *beats the game and changes the game cartridge for a new one to play*

Ouryuu: "Momiji don't say that"

Momiji: "Why not it's too boring in here! I don't have anything to do!"

Ouryuu: "Well what about—"

Momiji: "I've already read every book and manga you've brought me a hundred times alright! And I can tell you the storyline from heart!"

Ouryuu: "I-I see. Don't worry Momiji you just have to stay in here for a bit longer until we find out what's wrong with you ok?"

Momiji sighs and keeps playing the game, she tells her brother that she wants something new to do as she was getting sick of reading the same book and playing the same game over and over. Ouryuu tells Momiji that he'll try to bring something interesting for her next time.
