Joaquin x Archie

Joaquin's POV:

I was told by Warden Norton to go find Archie after his match. Norton had me wrapped around his stubby finger. Or so he thought. I knew he was working for little Veronica Lodge's father. I had seen him come by before. I wasn't going to let that bother me until.. I drew a quest card. I HAD to follow through if I wanted to live.
"I can't do this." I thought to myself as I open the door to the locker room.

"Joaquin?" Archie asks as I wrap his injured hand. I stayed silent.
"Something might go down." He pauses. I look into his green eyes briefly. "If it does, just know I will come back for you guys." He continues staring up at me.
"Hey. Joaquin." He says patting my arm. "You with me?" He asks, noticing my silence. I give him a small nod. We stare at eachother for a few seconds. Dazed by his dazzling, hazel eyes, I leaned in and kissed him.
He pulls away for a second as I reach for my make-shift knife, but then he pulls me back in. I drop it and it clatters to the floor. We ignore it, completely absorbed in the moment. Then he pulls away.
"Joaquin. Were you.. were you about to stab me?" He asks, his gaze shifting to the floor.
"Archie, you have to listen." I say. He nods and I continue.
"Okay, the short answer is yes. I was. But, the reasoning is because of Warden Norton. He's working with Lodge. Y'know, your girl's dad. I didn't want to. I couldn't. Archie, I love you. But when I had to draw a quest ca-" I explain, getting cut off.
"Joaquin." Archie says. "It doesn't matter. G&G is just a stupid game. It messes with your head. I can forgive you." He says brushing my hair from my face.
"I'm so sorry. It's just, even though I'm a serpent, I'm still scared. Mostly of death." I say looking down at my shoes. "And look, I'm sorry for kissing you. It was a mistake. I know you have a girlfriend. I just couldn't hold back anymore." I says, a tear rolling down my cheek.
Archie looked as if he were about to burst out in tears, but then, he hugged me.
"Joaquin."
"Yeah?"
"It's okay. I love you."
Archie's POV:

"It's okay. I love you." I said pulling back from our hug. "If I'm being honest, I was planning on breaking up with Ronnie anyways. I can't keep living like this. With her dad always after me." I say looking off to the side.
"Archie," Joaquin says, cupping my cheeks. "Do whatever is best for you."
I smile. His bright, light blue eyes glistening with tears stare into mine. He shifts one hand to my shoulder and pulls me in for another kiss.
I shift my hands to his waist. "Y'know DeSantos, I always wondered what kissing a cute boy would be like." I chuckled. "Now I know."
"Is that a good thing?" He teased.
"It's better than kissing a girl." I say and peck his lips.
"What do you say, we break out of here. Find some place to stay for a while. I'll meet up with Ronnie, then we can go on a date?" I ask.
"I'd love that." He says, his pale cheeks glowing a bright red.
"Me too." I say hugging his slim body.
A/N: Uhhhm! I couldn't stop thinking about this ever since i saw that episode where SPOILER Joaquin kissed & stabbed Archie. So I decided, why not make a "random oneshots" book so I can post whatever crazy ass shit i come up with at school 🙏‼️
