Time seemed to tick by slowly after that. Allowing you to completely push back any thoughts in regards to either of the Aleksi brothers. In fact, you didn't feel like focusing on anything other than the things that you felt were normal. Well, as normal as it could get.

Leading you to where you were now, simply walking to the Herbology class since Dorian had asked you to specifically go there. (F/n) had left your side ages ago and gone of to do who knows what. Being replaced by Lumin, who had been following you around. Lunch with him, surprisingly, hadn't gone as awkward as you were afraid it might. The redhead seemingly acting as if nothing had happened.

Which you definitely knew was strange.
Especially with how he now followed you around. Something just simply didn't sit right with you.

But at the same time, you didn't particularly want to break the peace between you two now. So you resulted in trying small talk with him instead.

"Well... I was planning to possibly go to the dining hall after school, " Lumin mentioned. Stopping beside you for a brief moment. "And I know you said, you normally go with that friend of yours for dinner, but would you like to sit with me?"

Your brows furrowed at the question, seeing as it was a good thing that Lumin  was finally planning to attend dinner at the dining hall. Yet answering was certainly difficult. Still not wanting to make your friendship awkward again since you couldn't quite agree. Coming to the conclusion that you would just have to be truthful with him.

"I actually have plans to go see the Astronomy Tower after school, so I might not be able to do that." You tried to let him down gently. Before adding. "But if you still want to, I could join you tomorrow."

"Oh." Lumin's expression darkened with irritation. Averting his gaze and finally giving a nod. "Yeah. we could do that tomorrow then, (Y/n)."

Giving a quiet sigh of relief,  you were happy the male seemed to still be making good progress. There couldn't actually be a way that he was the reason Cozbi was gone. You just didn't really see that being the case. At least you hoped it wasn't...

"Wonderful. I'll see you later then." With that you had left Lumin alone now. And headed off again. The redhead still watching you dissapear.

Upon getting to Herbology, you reached your hand out to grab the door handle. You were unable to even make contact with it before the door was suddenly pushed open. Harshly smacking into and shoving you backwards.

You quickly regained your balance to keep yourself from falling. Slightly dazed now as you merely stared at none other than Eloi. His gold eyes widening as he tried to help you.

"Oh, (Y/n)! I didn't realize you were there, I'm sorry!" He exclaimed in embarrassment. "Are you okay?"

Cringing at the twinge of pain that went through you, you rubbed you shoulder. You made an attempt to brush off the awkward moment, having a sense of deja vu at the weirdest of times.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's no harm done really."

You had then taken notice of Vel and Dorian standing behind the champagne haired male. Vel specifically seeming to hold a mischievous glint in her eyes, stepping forward. And thankfully for you, her teasing was really only directed towards Eloi.

"I've never known you to be so clumsy. Have you?" The male in question shot her an annoyed frown. Prompting aa sly smirk from her.

"Yeah. Truly unlike you," Dorian chimed in with a quiet snicker.

Becoming a bit amused by the two, you shook your head. Deciding to just outright speak your thoughts. "Accidents do happen, it's fine. But about the Astronomy Tower...?"
