Akko is a shy girl. She isn't the way she is in the anime. She doesn't talk, not like Constance, and keeps a diary to note down her thoughts.

Akko POV

Dear diary, today was alright. Being the new student at Luna Nova is a challenge, but not as much as keeping you a secret. If my friends found this it would be over haha. Oh yeah, my friends. Not really sure we are, my anxiety tells me they are nice people because we're on the same team but Lotte says otherwise. She isn't like Sucy at all, she's caring, nice, and there for me. Sucy on the other hand, sees me a lost cause, makes fun of me, and isn't nice. Ok I'm just over exaggerating. She is nice, very nice in my opinion. Complete opposite of what you think she might be like. I don't like any of the teachers others than Professor Ursula.

*knock* *knock* I closed my diary and hid it under my mattress. After that I went to the door and opened it, Professor Ursula was there.
"Hello, Akko was it? I've come to give you your broom and let you know flying practice is staring soon. Good luck" Ursula said handing me my new broom. I smiled in gratitude and closed the door to get ready for flight practice. I only told Ursula my name in an extra class she offered to give me to catch up to the other first years. She was the only person I told my name to, the others I would give a piece of paper with my name on. Even the teachers. Once my 'practical work' uniform was on I made my way to the field for flight practice with my notebook.

Once there I joined Sucy and Lotte in the 'new flyers' group. It was just us three there which I didn't mind, I'm not one for big groups. Once the flight instructor told everyone else to practice gaining speed she turned to us and introduced herself.
"Hello and welcome to flight practice. I am Professor Nelson. You will do what I say when I say, you got that?" She said rather loudly causing me to get scared.
"Yes ma'am" Lotte and Sucy said in unison, I only saluted.
"First, show your broom the proper respect like this" Nelson said holding her broom out In front of her "then mount and say the spell" she got on her broom and said "Tia Freyre" with that she started to hover "now your turn"
Lotte, Sucy and me did the required actions and mounted our brooms. Lotte and Sucy said the incantation and began to hover, I only whispered it which worked just as fine but I couldn't go as high as everyone else could. Either way I got a 'well done' from the Professor. 'Yes, the first well done for my work!' I thought excitedly. Since everyone else was learning how to go fast I decided to just float around for the rest of the class. Two girls suddenly sped past me causing me to fall on my bum.
"Oops sorry didn't see you there"
"Should have said something so we would know"
They laughed
"How about this, this way you won't get in the way" the redhead said casting a spell on me and my broom to make it have wheels, handle bars, and me a helmet.
It was a bike now and not a broom, but it still looked like one just with bike parts. They flew off laughing leaving me with my new broomcicle? Tears started to swell in my eyes after I couldn't reverse the spell. I was near a tree so I took my broom and slumped down with my back against the tree. I took off the helmet and threw it away. I didn't realise but it got the attention of a girl with blond hair and green highlights.

Diana POV

Practicing gaining speed, I flew around the field. Because of my talent and my prestigious family name I got lots of praise. I know I'm the popular girl because I'm a Cavendish but I don't like it. I just tune it out, there only so many "good job" or "I knew you could do it Diana" 's you can hear before it gets annoying.

Flying away from the crowd a rolling yellow helmet got my attention. I landed to see if it had a name and found non. I looked in the direction of where it was coming from and saw a brunette girl crying. Walking over to her with the helmet I asked "is this yours?". I got no response. I walked closer and tapped the girl on the shoulder. She jumped a bit but just looked away when she saw me. For that little time she had looked at me I realised it was the new girl, my crush. "Is this yours?" I asked again. She shook her head. "Why are you crying?" I asked again. She looked up and pointed at Hannah and Barbara, my team members. I was severely disappointed in them for bullying, but this was a new low. The new girl of all people, I will report them to the teacher once I get this girl up. "D-do you want a hug?" I asked blushing, without hesitation she hugged me back. "It's going to be ok" "Akko" she said "it's going to be ok Akko" I said hugging Akko -my crush- closer.
