Chapter 5

Akk woke up in a drunken state, his body lying on the couch with his stomach pressed against the couch. He looked around, seeing Gram and Sean's figures lying unconscious, Sean on the cold cement floor, and Gram laying on the couch opposite him. He sat up, holding his head as it was throbbing slightly.

"You're up already? It's 7 in the morning."

Gumpa's voice came from upstairs behind him, the latter staring at him. Akk turned around, standing up and stretching his arms. He let out a yawn, looking at the older.

"Yeah, I'm going to take a walk."

"Alright, don't get in trouble."

The older of the pair said to him before turning to go inside his room, closing the door before him. Akk headed outside, taking in the sunlight that was hitting his face.

His eyes scanned the surrounding, checking if no one was there. Seeing as there wasn't anybody suspicious, his tensed shoulders began to relax. As he was walking, he felt the cool breeze of the wind hitting his skin, giving a sense of calmness to him.

He looked around, seeing the birds chirping, bringing a smile to his face. He stood there for a couple of minutes, taking in the sunrise. Finally, he stretched before returning back to the garage, kicking a few pebbles on the way, it was cold but he didn't wear a jacket, so he needed to bring back some heat to his body.

"..Yok?" He heard Gram mutter when he saw him get inside the garage. The older was still hungover. Gram's eyelids fluttered, trying to stay awake as he looked at Akk. The younger chuckled at the sight of Gram, walking towards him and placing his blanket over the other's cold figure, patting his head.

"It's still early. Get some more sleep."

Akk told him gently, Gram going back to unconsciousness. Akk then went up to Gumpa's room, opening the door slightly roughly, forgetting to knock. Gumpa looked at him in suprise, standing up suddenly as a shock reaction. Gumpa then relaxed, regaining his composure before sitting back down on his bed.

"Hey, knocking's a thing, you know?" Gumpa told the standing male, who just laughed sheepishly at his words.

"I'm going back to my place, just thought I would inform you." Akk told him, to which the other said a goodbye and told him to be careful.

Akk went down to get his motorbike before driving off to go back to his dorm. He didn't have classes anyway since it was suspended. As he was driving, he couldn't help but think about his friends.

"I wonder what Kan and Wat are doing..."

His thought said, before drifting to another one.

"I wonder what Kan and Wat would think if they knew what I was doing. What would... Ayan think?"

He quickly dismissed those thoughts before going back to his dorm.
