I was sleepy as hell but I had to attend the meetings, it was just me, Toto and Marcus -George's chief engineer-

The door opened and Mick Schumacher walked in the room

"Good Morning!" He said with his smile on the face

We all said good morning and Mick looked at me

"Katerina! How are you?" He giggled

"Sleepy! You?" I took a sip from my coffee

"So good! And surprised" Mick winked at me

Mick and I know each couple of years now, I was working with him for a race he was driving with Seb back in December if I remember correctly

Lewis Hamilton with George Russell walked in with Rosie Wait the Strategist of the team

"Good Morning" Lewis looked at me confused

"Good Morning" I smiled at him

"Hello Katerina Horner" George gave me a hug "Long time not seeing each other"

"Yeah really" I nodded

"What is she doing here?" Lewis asked madly

"You could be a bit of polite?" Toto said madly

"Whatever" Lewis rolled his eyes sitting in the chair

I sighed and I looked at Toto that he made a nod, the meeting started

"So as you all know the pre season testing starts on Tuesday and I hope that you all are happy about it" Toto started saying "For Katerina the designs for the new car are on page three"

I opened the right page

"Do you think that we should not tell Katerina about our plans" Lewis suggested

"Stop being rude" Toto said madly

Toto was talking firstly and I was keeping my ears on him but Lewis was looking at me, I was trying avoid his face and hearing Toto

"Any suggestions?" Toto asked "Let me remind you Katerina that here we're taking with numbers for the parts of the car"

"I don't think she has any idea" Lewis said madly

"I think we should place the number..." I looked at my papers "Number 11 of the list of the car tools in number 32 of the car"

Toto looked at this and he smiled, then he looked at me

"Yeah we can do a small upgrade" Toto smiled "We have the right for this one"

"She's right" Marcus said "Amazing idea! We should think of it"

The meeting ended and then I walked with Toto in his office to talk about my future

"So" Toto said smiling "The deal is good"

"I know but my dad..." I sighed

"You have to do what your heart wants and not care about your dad or anyone else" Toto answered

I smiled softly, Toto gave me a good deal and the conditions here are good except from the fact that Lewis already hates me

"I think I can work here" I sighed smiling "Where will I sign?"

"I was sure about it!" Toto laughed, he grabbed a paper from his office and gave it to me with a pen

"Did you have it ready?" I asked laughing

"Yes?" Toto asked laughing

I read the contract and all the terms are good for me and I think I'll have such a good time here

I signed the contract and I looked at Toto

"Officially Lewis' new Chief Engineer" Toto stood up and we had a handshake "Welcome Katerina"

"Thank you Toto" I nodded

We walked out of the office to walked me in my new office, 24 hours later I couldn't imagine myself being a Chief Engineer for Mercedes and Hamilton

"This will be your new office" Toto patted my back softly

"Thank you" I walked in my office and I sat in the chair of my desk and I smiled in happiness

I couldn't imagine that a drunk decision can do this but I feel good about it and especially if Lewis will be a good asshole

But the craziest part has not come yet! I have to tell my dad what I just did!
