I headed home around 7 PM with my family waiting for me
"Where are the bags?" My dad said looking at my empty hands
"What bags?" I let myself sit on the couch
"You didn't go for shopping?" Geri asked laughing "Something's wrong with you if you didn't buy something from London"
"About that" I sighed "I got a job!" I said proudly
"That's amazing!" My dad stood up to give me a hug "Congratulations little girl"
"Thanks dad" I smiled, Geri hugged me as well
"I was sure that you would find a job! You are an amazing engineer!" Geri squeezed my arms "Where?"
"That's the problem" I looked at my dad
"Tell me" My dad smiled
"Well I did something! The last week when I got out with the lads in London I bet with Marc that does not the problem! The problem is that I lost and boom I did an application for Mercedes! The application got accepted! Today I was in the factory and Toto offered me the seat of Lewis' Chief Engineer and I said yes, I signed the contract" I looked down
It was an awkward silence and I didn't want to watch neither my dad nor Geri
"Okay" Geri broke the silence
"Well I am proud of you" I looked at my dad that he just said that "You signed for an amazing team and Toto is a good boss! I mean but you signed for our rivals" My dad lost his words not knowing what to say
"I go to my room" I stood up and walked in my bedroom embarrassed
I was feeling exhausted but at the same time embarrassed about what I did! Lewis already hates me and I don't like it!

The next day I woke up around 5 AM and I got ready to leave for the airport, I walked downstairs and my dad was there drinking coffee
"Good Morning" I grabbed the jug to place some coffee into my mug
"Good Morning sunshine" My dad smiled at me "Will you leave for the airport?"
"Yeah I will go in Bahrain with Toto and Lewis with Toto's private jet" I answered awkwardly
"You know that I'm proud of you" My dad said and I look at him "I'm happy that you'll work with a team like Mercedes because I know that they'll respect you"
"Thank you dad, I appreciate that" I said and I took a sip from my coffee "Will you leave for the airport as well?"
"Yeah I will" My dad nodded "Maybe we can go together"
"Yeah we can" I agreed "It would be amazing"
A few minutes later we arrived in the airport with my dad, we arrived in front of Toto's jet where we apart ways and I walked into my boss' jet
"Good Morning" I said smiling
"Good Morning Katerina" Toto was the only one to answer, Lewis pretended that he didn't watch me
I sighed sitting on a seat, Toto came next to me
"How do you feel?" Toto asked "Tomorrow you'll make your debut"
"Yeah I'll make my debut and I'm happy about it! Big Lewis does not like me" I sighed smiling "Do you think that he'll ever like me?"
"Yeah sure! Lewis is a good guy" Toto replied
"When we talk about Katerina no" Lewis answered madly from the back
"Ha" I said ironically "I don't really care in just here to do my job"
"I hope that" Lewis agreed
I looked at Toto that he was giggling, the plane started flying with direction the beautiful city of Manama in Bahrain
We arrived there a bit later and a car took us to the our hotel, I had meetings and meetings with the team
"I think we ended for today" Toto sighed taking off his glasses "Oh my God"
I stood up and I looked at Mick feeling exhausted
"Dinner?" Mick asked and I giggled softly
"Yeah I would love it" I agreed, we walked together upstairs in our rooms and we got ready to leave for the dinner in the restaurant of the hotel
I wore a midi satin black dress, Calvin Klein gold heeled sandals, Valentino Garavani loco gold handbag and some gold jewelleries
Mick was waited for me outside of my room wearing black pants and a white Prada T-Shirt
"Ready?" He asked laughing
"Why are you laughing?" I asked closing the door behind
"Nothing! Let's go!" Mick replied and we walked downstairs in the hotel restaurant to have our dinner together
As we were eating and talking Lewis and Toto appeared
"Hello guys!" Toto said smiling
"Hey!" I said
"Oh hello!" Mick said as well
"Hello Mick" Lewis said looking at Mick and I just rolled my eyes
"Lewis" Toto said angrily, the British forced to look at me
"Hello Katerina" He just said and looked away
"Have a seat with us!" Mick suggested "It would be amazing!"
"Sure!" Toto agreed
"Whatever" Lewis said ironically and they sat with us
"Are you all ready for tomorrow?" Toto asked
"I am super nervous for my first day at work!" I laughed
"I'm sure that you'll do great! Don't worry! We all are here for you!" Toto squeezed my arm "Lewis is happy for the new chief engineer"
"Yeah I am organising a party for her first day" Lewis said looking at his phone
"Oh really that's amazing!" I smiled at him
"You won't be invited" Lewis said ironically and I did an ironic expression at him
"It's gonna be a long season" Mick just said
