The Walker Group of Companies Party was huge and the board members and shareholders of the various businesses of the Walker Group of Companies were the most prominent under the party, not to speak about the WGC employees. Berla found herself chit-chatting with Alexina Walker.

"So what is this Elena girl like? What family is she from?"

"Why are you suddenly interested in Elena Smith?"

"Can't I know the woman my friend is dating?"

"And when did my brother, JR, become your friend?" Alexina giggled, "Simply say you want info on your rival."

"There are so many Smith families around but I don't see any prestigious Elena in our magazines. Is that supposed to be weird?"

"Definitely not supposed to be weird. She's not from here and if you have more questions you can ask her in person because there she comes," Berla turned to the entrance where Davidson and Elena had graced the party with their splendid appearance. Most people had their attention on them. They were worth the watch though. Davidson was in a charcoal black tuxedo and Elena was in a matching charcoal black gown. They held hands like lovers and made their act more believable for the sake of their audience. Davidson was a gentleman and his height spoke for him and having the bright Elena by his side made him more of a proud man.

Elena did not disappoint. She had her hair in a high bun with a side-swept bang to cover part of her right eye. She walked elegantly in matching black platforms with her cute purse in her arms. She had this warm smile that touched the hearts of all those who saw it. It was a lovely smile. She was loved instantly by the employees who already couldn't stop talking about her. Tiana was also proud and awed by how her son and Elena had managed to steal the limelight without breaking a sweat. Their appearance and how they held hands did all the talking.

"That's a beautiful maiden your son has there," Ryley Johnson told Tiana. She was the famous wife of Enoch Johnson whom Tiana wanted to meet and she only approached Tiana after the appearance of Davidson and Elena. The girl was surely going to be a gem in the life of the Walkers. She turned brightly to Ryley Johnson and said.

"She's my son's current obsession."

"She's worth an obsession. What is her name?"

"Elena Smith."

Davidson and Elena walked over to Tiana's side where she was standing with Ryley Johnson. Davidson smiled at the sight of the Johnson queen.

"Elena, let me introduce you to one of the most beautiful women I've come to know that never age. She's a proud model too and prominent in various magazines. The great Ryley Yen Johnson. And Mrs Johnson, this is my girlfriend and my all at the moment, the charming Elena Smith."

"Nice to meet you," Ryley said to Elena as she pulled out her hand to shake Elena's.

"The pleasure is mine. You're such an icon on our screens and I'm glad to have finally met you," Ryley brushed it off as if it was nothing and then turned to Tiana.

"You Walkers are good with your selection," they all laughed.

"We choose from the best. It's definitely why you are present here," Tiana winked.

"You're right, Tiana. That is why I'm here. WGC is a great company. It was great under Davidson's management and I can see that JR is doing an excellent job plus he has got a beautiful girlfriend and I can see wedding bells ringing soon," the two turned to stare at each other and then back to Ryley, "If I met Elena earlier I'd have hooked her up with my son, Alfred."
