If you’re reading this. That means I'm not done with the rough draft of Chapter 1 yet. So, as an apology, I want to share my own thoughts with you guys about the story and what I wanted to see in the game. and some questions i had while looking through SSKTJL

Ok, uhhh, number 1, when did Arkham asylum reopen? In Arkham Knight the asylum was abandoned, and it was scarecrows main secret base last time i checked, they didn’t give us an In-game reason why it's back up and running again. not even a B.S. reason. I would’ve preferred a B.S. answer over no answer. Also, why is Captain Boomerang and Deadshot in Arkham Asylum to begin with? It's an asylum for the criminally insane, not perfectly sane. They didn’t really give an explanation on why they're there in the first place.

Number 2: why does everyone have guns? It makes sense for Deadshot to have guns because wellthat's his whole thing, I don't remember if Arkham Harley ever used a gun, I need to go back and check. But other than those two, why the hell does Captain Boomerang and King shark have them. In all my years of living, not once have I seen captain boomerang pick up a hand-gun, let alone a shotgun. Same thing goes with king shark, i’ve looked through comics, animated appearances, and the Live Action movies. So far i Never seen them with a gun.

For a guy named Captain Boomerang, you think he’ll have a variety of different boomerangs with different effects. The idea of throwing all sorts of boomerangs with unique effects is what got me excited because I thought rocksteady was gonna do that, I was hyped. But no, he only has 1 boomerang thought the entire game. WTF rocksteady, They didn't even give him a Batarang, a goddamn batarang, it's right there on the nose, that would’ve been cool.

And with King Shark, I'm also disappointed about his gameplay, sort of. I wanted him to be like the hulk, you know, him having melee weapons  i think thats fine, Its just weird to me for him to have a gun, i don’t know, i just don’t know

Also, the fact that everyone has guns and knows how to use them kinda defeats the purpose of having Deadshot to begin with. If you think about it, you can replace deadshot with literally anyone else, hell you can replace him with goddamn Calendar man and it would not change the story one bit. The only thing that would change is the “rivalry” that deadshot has with green lantern for some reason but i'm pretty sure it wouldn’t change the game as much.

I think what they wanted to do is have each member of the suicide squad to have personal vendettas towards a member of the Justice League. Boomerang and Harley Quinn are easy picks for flash and batman. But having deadshot and green lantern as rivalry, i feel like you could've use anyone else. I'm surprised the writers didn't make a joke about green lantern mistaking King Shark for “The Shark” , does anyone else even know who The Shark is? , one of green lantern's villains, does Karshon ring any bells or is it just me? Speaking of King Shark, he has no rivalry with anyone in the Justice league, all i could find about king shark having a rivalry with anyone is superboy, that's it. I mean if you wanted a reason why king sharks there, make him rivals with aquaman. I feel like having Aquaman would’ve been cool because they are surrounded by water, it's an island. If they wanted to do the whole rivalry thing, here are my picks, i’m counting Wonderwomen and Aquaman into this too

Harley quinn and boomerang are good, those are the easy picks. King shark with aquaman, but if aquaman was in SSKTJL, Blackmanta would be better, for wonder woman, no doubt cheetah, i think cheetah would’ve been a good playable character, no weapons, no guns, just good hand to hand combat, you already have lex Luthor in the game, bloodsport is also a good choice since apparently he's an enemy of superman, i never knew that. For green lantern, you know what, let's go with star sapphire. I think she would also be a good character to play as. She's mostly associated with Hal Jordan green lantern i think, i don’t know because in SSKTJL, its John Stewart. But i also read online she killed his wife when i search up John Stewart green lantern villains, don’t know how much of that is true, here's the pics
