February

No way February is already over. Please tell me this isn't real because that means my birthday is in less than a month and I am not prepared to change my age. I still feel like I'm at least a year younger than I actually am and my friends are already calling me old (@Salazar_Descendant I'm talking to you)

This is going to take a long time so... *deep sigh*... I might as well get started now... at 8 pm. I'm using ellipses way too much.

And I finally decided to add some order to this, so the titles in italics are the rereads. After I publish this. Here we go!

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas (#7 in Throne of Glass Series)

Okay, I had to go to the last chapter to remember how I formatted this, but here I am. Honestly, this was such a fitting ending to the series. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit relieved that it was finally over because whenever I thought 'Oh, they're all happy and the series is over!' it ended up being right before a HUGE tragedy. Some of the things I couldn't get over and still can't, like how quickly certain characters moved on, but it was definitely as realistic as fantasy can go so...

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck By Mark Manson

This book... well once you ignore the title and the chapter names, it's a really good read. I love reading books like this, not just because of the information, but also because it's so interesting to get different people's perspectives on the world. For Mark Manson, this book in my experience, was exactly what the title says, basically how to just not care about too many things and it was a great wake-up. I don't recommend it if you aren't in for a long read though, because it isn't a long book, but if you want to understand some of the things mentioned, you need a few minutes to process it.

The Cruel Prince By Holly Black (#1 in The Folk of the Air Series)

There's like a whole backstory behind this because my friend (@Rocky_N) got me The Wicked King for my last birthday but I never read it because it was the second book in the series. And then I just never got to the first book but then decided to without checking what the first book was called or the author, and just randomly started reading The False Prince, which I don't regret, but it was an emotional rollercoaster.

This book was honestly so good though, and I just loved so many things about it that you're going to see the second book come up a lot later on in the year as a reread. I can't believe I went so long without reading it, and the plot twists, the suspense, the drama, the political subplot, and the simplicity but humanity of the main character, not to mention the family relations and the cleverly hidden secrets... I loved it, if you couldn't tell. I recommend it for sure.

The Wicked King By Holly Black (#2 in The Folk of the Air Series)

Just like the first book, love, love, love, especially the cover 'cause it's just so fitting. I still can't believe I have it on my bookshelf to read whenever I want because as someone who moves a lot, I was never actually allowed to buy books cause it would be too hard to carry around all the time.

This book fed even deeper into the whole political subplot and I love the characters so much more because none of them are like fully evil or fully good which I feel is such an important element to books, especially fantasy ones. Some parts had me wanting to throw the book and others had me bawling my eyes out and the ending... oh my gosh the ending. Please read it, it is so good.
