I'm only ten when you leave. You don't leave a note saying why and none of our family listens when you say you're going to take yourself away from the world. You were everything to me no matter what you did wrong and boy you did a lot of wrong. To me you weren't a bad guy you were daddy. It always seemed like you cared about me and did what you could for me. Mom was never around at all so you being around when you weren't in prison made it seem like you were at least there for me as much as you could be you were never the deadbeat parent. I idolized you but for your actions but because you were my dad. Almost every good childhood memory was one that has you in it. The day I find out your gone was the day my childhood ended.
