                                                   Diana

"It just isn't working out. I'm sure you can understand where I'm coming from love." My boyfriend of 5 years dared to call me love in my face as he said that. "I just don't understand, why right now, why right before the flight?" After all, Jeremy and I were in the middle of the L.A airport when he just decided to up and break up with me. Who does that??? I swear, the nerve of some men.

"I only came with you to wave you off and onto your flight." He says.

Before anything else happens, you should know one thing about me. I love quotes, I mean who doesn't, but I especially love them. I have a quote for every type of situation. So before I did anything reckless, I searched my brain for the perfect quote.

That's when it hit me, from my girl, Marilyn Monroe herself, that says "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." Well shit, how is that supposed to help me?

I was taught to think before I act. At least, that was the excuse I gave myself for punching Jeremy in the jaw and then proceeding to kick him in the gut right in the middle of the airport where hundreds of people could see me.

I already knew people were giving me dirty looks. I grabbed my bags, and without a second glance, I walked towards the plane to go to New York City. That fucker doesn't deserve a second glance from me.

I walked to security and went through the detector. As I collected my bags, I saw some guy in an Armani suit arguing with security. Ugh. Rich people. Imagine growing up having everything you ever wished for. Lucky bastards.

The man looked towards me and stared at me for a couple of seconds, I couldn't tell his emotion because he was wearing some expensive brand of sunglasess. I could only guess he was surprised because his mouth opened the tiniest of bits.

I'm not even going to lie to myself. He Was Fine. What do I mean when I say that? Well he had the type of body that women wept over  because of how perfect it was. He filled out his suit perfectly and he had the most perfect jawline I had ever see-, stop it Diana. Stop swooning over some rich snob who probably doesn't tip the waiter because his steak was a few seconds overcooked.

As my boy Chris Evens says, "A hot man is like a magnet; he attracts everyone around him." This man took that personally. You can't help but be drawn to his presence. You feel like the most important person in the world if he even glanced in your general direction.I wonder if he has quotes, and which one is his favorite if he does. Huh.

I send a quick text to my best friend Liana that says, "Jeremy just broke up with me. Am boarding the plane now. Ill call you after I land."

She of course responded in a couple of seconds saying, "be safe, XOXO." I love that girl, I mean how could you not?. She literally looks like a supermodel and is the best type of friend, the one who cares.

I walk towards the plane and board. I get to my seat and find it one seat away from the window. Nobody is in the seat next to the window, so maybe if nobody shows up, then I can take the seat.

I wait until the overhead speakers say to fasten my seatbelt to move to the window seat. Yes!! Finally one thing that has gone right today.

I decided to take a quick nap before I landed. I dreaded waking up and having to deal with life. I grabbed my Bluetooth headphones out of the bag and played some random YouTube video that promised "10 hours of interrupted sleep" Yeah right.

I did have 7 hours of flight time so I might as well try. I closed my eyes and realized that the last thing on my mind before I fell asleep was of a certain someone in an Armani suit.

A/N

That was the first chapter. What did you guys think?? I was going to make this one longer but decided to keep it short and sweet.

I love Diana so far and love the quotes. I'm so excited for chapter two, where some real action is going to happen

Stay tuned

Thanks so much😘😘😘
