Being red sucks, like, you have very violent thoughts, you feel on edge all. the. time.

It sucks.

how did I get here you may be asking yourself? Well…

earlier that day:

“Why are we here again?” Dris asked.

we were just climbing up a hill, Leah, apparently, found a dear. Though she didn’t believe it was a dear so she came and got me (because I know more about this than her) Dris came along because she didn’t think I could handle not jumping off the cliff (fair enough)

“I found a dear, you came along because you didn’t trust Helenna to not jump off the side of this hill” Leah told them, her voice being snarky.

“Mouth.” I said, no hesitation in saying it. I don’t like people talking to my friends like that.

“Sorry not sorry, ask a stupid question get a snarky answer.” Leah snapped back, I rolled my eyes and was tempted to push her over the side of the hill.

“The saying is, ask a stupid question and you get a stupid answer. Dumbass.” I snapped back at her, thankfully, we got to the top and I saw a not dear automatically, Leah pointed at it

“That’s the dear I found.” I blinked, well shit… if there’s a not dear in this place what else is there? A fucking mimic? (No fucking ideas universe!)

(To late!)

“That’s a not dear. Meaning if it comes towards us. Kill it.” The two looked at me confused

“But-” I held up a finger, Leah blinked bur stayed silent

“kill. it. I’m not repeating myself” the two just nodded and stayed silent

after a few minutes of just chilling by the edge I heard a giggle… my giggle… well shit..

“ꉔꄲꂵꏂ ꄲꋊ ꄲ꒤꓄~ ꒒ꏂ꓄’ꇙ ꉣ꒒ꋬꌦ ꋬ ꍌꋬꂵꏂ!” The mimic said, it’s voice going slightly higher or lower as it spoke, trying to match my voice

“Haha… nope! Come on let’s go” I grabbed the two’s hands and started walking with them away, and down the hill.

“What the fuck was that..?” Leah whispered as we walked, I pushed the two in front of me, it was after me. They always are.

“A mimic. Whatever you fucking do, don’t stop moving. If we stop and it catches up to us… it won’t end well..” The nodded, thank god they stopped asking questions… fuck.. Why are there footsteps behind us..? I swear to all things holy if it’s the not dear we’re fucked.

god damnit… I grabbed the two’s wrists and pushed them a little further as we ran down the hill, Leah accidently moved just right and I tripped and stumbled to the edge… I looked at the two and mouthed
