Once we all understood the rules we ran in different directions, I ran straight ahead then threw a curve ball and went to the right, I originally thought about following Grian but I saw that he was looking sad and I figured he wouldn't want to talk to me considering I can be a little annoying at times

After I ran for a while I stopped at oak trees and started punching some, Helenna and Leah were arguing about something while Dris was actually doing things, I walked over to them

"Hey! How's it going?" I said once I got closer to them.

"It's going great but the scaredy cat over here is scared of a shadow" she pointed at Leah who had her arms crossed

"It was too tall for any of us here!" Leah said, Helenna rolled her eyes

"You would not hold up well in my life" Helenna muttered while I was walking over to Dris because They were making a sword.

"Can't be that bad" Leah muttered and Helenna looked at her and said calmly, "I have shadow figures walking around my room as we speak, I feel eyes on me at all times even when I'm alone, my dreams are normally something that tells the future, I have a demon currently writing my obituary as we speak for no reason. So yea you wouldn't hold up well" Leah rolled her eyes and left, "yea, fuck you too" Helenna muttered then went to a tree and started punching it

"What was that all about?" I asked Dris and they shrugged

"They have been arguing since we ran into each other, I think it's just a family dynamic thing." Dris shrugged again and started a strip mine

We eventually started mining, the three of us dug out a small hole in the ground, it had been 10 minutes so the boogie man was about to be chosen

'you are.... Not boogieman' the words flashed through my eyes and I let out a sigh of relief because that was way too much stress for me

"Alright, I'm going to go set up a base somewhere! Wanna team up?" I asked and the two looked at each other then shook their heads

"Sorry, we kinda just want it to be the two of us." Helenna said softly, like she was trying to calm a crying child, which I thought was weird but punched it off

"Oh, ok! I guess I'll go team with Grian or Mumbo!" I said with a smile, especially when I mentioned Grian the two giggled silently as I left and when they thought I was out of earshot I heard Helenna say

"He's totally going to try to have sex with Grian, isn't he?" I don't know what Dris said but I knew one thing

She wasn't exactly wrong...

As I was looking for a good spot to build I saw someone and I realized it was Alli

"Hey!" Alli flinched then turned around holding a sword, he saw it was me then put it down, I saw a small amount of scalk creeping onto their face on the bottom right of their face, "what happened to your face?" I asked, I wasn't really thinking before I asked, he looked at me confused then felt where the sculk was
