Our minds always reminds us of thing we have done
good or bad, it always shows the scene again
like a vinyl player,
skipping on the same part over and over againTo most people, it's good to remember all the good we have done
but wonder what happens when Ii shows us something different?
something darker, something scary, something filled with shame
something that can be engraved by flame into our brainsIt's a scene I can't imagine, something my mind cannot picture
something I truly hope won't happen to me in the future
My days would be darker than the forest in the night
My nights would be colder than the coldest of frostbitesIt would be like a ghost, if I try to picture such thing
always there, following you, but you cannot see
whatever direction you turn, whatever angle you stare
you can't ever see it, but it's always thereBut It's not to say that you'll always see
these horrid memories with grim and without glee
every cloud has a silver lining, the coin always has 2 sides
it's up to you whether to see it with a frown or with a smileLook at your mistakes with a blessing, as a lesson you have witnessed
A chance to turn a new leaf, to start a new life
A chance to apologize and forget what you've done
A chance to rise from the ashes of pain and strifeSo do not fret about the mistakes of your life
they all happen for a reason
The thing that truly matters is how we see them
and how we grow like the roses in the season

PoetryTreat this like a mirror. An apparatus that gazes into the porcelain smiles we all wear every day. These poems are as cluttered and disorganized as that of the emotions we keep to ourselves, and to ourselves alone
