Life is a dark, empty, and shallow thought
Forever blank, forever black, and forever disheartening
Even though the sun and moon might shine brightly upon this land
Always, for eternity till' the kingdom comes, It'll be jet black endlessly
But I could swear upon my life that it wasn't always this way
I can remember those times like they were yesterday
The sun was behind me as I dance within the alluring,
lovely, and prepossessing scenery of the wheat field
But one, horrendous and evil day, the sun didn't shine
The gloom took over everything I could see for miles
The pitter patter of the raindrops replaced the happy buzzing of the bees
The scent of the dazzling sunlight was replaced with the damped odor of the rain
The bright blue clouds were now nothing but a clump of grey, gloomy madness
And now, my life has turned into the black object that it is as we speak
I've lost all hope, everything I enjoyed is destroyed
I guess the saying actually speaks truth
All Good Things Eventually Come To An End
But I don't want it to end
I want the sun to shine again
I want to feel the warm embrace of the sunlight upon my back once again
I want the brightness of my life shine once more,
Through the darkness of the clouds blocking everything I see
All hope is lost
My hope is lost
I'm Tired
Very Tired

Reflections- a series of poems
PoëzieTreat this like a mirror. An apparatus that gazes into the porcelain smiles we all wear every day. These poems are as cluttered and disorganized as that of the emotions we keep to ourselves, and to ourselves alone
