I woke up with Maa knocking on door. I looked at the clock and it was 4 am. I opened the door.
“Come out and eat your pre-dawn meal. After this you can eat after the fast ends." She said and I nodded.
I sat on dining table and Maa was about to go in kitchen to take the meal out. But Roohani made her sit on the table and signalled Anamika to bring the plates.
“Why are you girls awake?" Maa asked them frowning.
“We are not fasting but can help you beautiful ladies. Even if it is still a little." Roohani said and Anamika nodded.
“You know Akshita whenever I fast these two Little monkeys of mine make sure I eat fully." Maa said pinching their cheeks.
“And now you are also added in that list bhabhi. Eat." Anamika said signalling me.
We ate our pre-dawn meal and Roohani and Anamika came with two boxes in their hands . They winked at each other. They handed the boxes to us. I opened the box and it had a beautiful red saree.
“Wear this Bhabhi and Aunty. In evening for Pooja you have to change anyway. This is light and fashionable. You will look pretty. We bought this for you." Anamika smiled at us.
The saree was really so pretty. I gladly took it and went inside the room. To my surprise Raj was awake.
“Did I disturbed your sleep?"
I put the saree on dressing table.“No. I didn't felt you beside me so woke up. I can't sleep without my wife." He said and I chuckled.
I sat on bed and we fell asleep again. I woke up at 7 am. My other side of bed was empty. I showered and wore the saree. I was trying to drape my saree myself but got interrupted with a deep voice.
“Need my help sweetheart?"
There he is standing leaning to door with his hands tucked in his pants. He was wearing a black shirt and his upper two buttons were undone making his chest visible to me.I looked at him through mirror. My hair was wet. He walked towards me and turned me. He kneeled down and draped my saree. A smile was lingering on his lips. He looked up at me when he completed draping my saree. He stood up and made me sit on dressing table. He went towards the cupboard and brought a box. I gave him a questioning look and he kneeled down again smiling at me. It was pretty jhanjar( an ornament wore by girls on legs ankels).
