We boarded the flight early morning to reach home and I was welcomed by a new face. It was a young girl who looked like a 16 year old but to my surprise she is 18 year old. She is like a family to Kashyap's that is all I know.
"Hello Bhabhi. I am Anamika and my name is enough to know me." She said flipping her hair showing her pearly teeth. She really is so cute and bubbly.
"Anamika let your bhabhi drink a glass of water then talk as much as you want with her." Maa said and she nodded.
We came in and freshened up. Raj went to office as his attention was needed urgently and I went downstairs. She felt my presence and again gave me a friendly smile. I gave her back a smile and she made way for me to sit and patted beside her. Maa giggled at her actions and pinched her cheeks. Maa really loves her a lot. It is reflected in her eyes. The way she adores her. Now I am really curious who is she?
"First of all I won't ask that if your wound hurts because it's obvious it will hurt but get well soon bhabhi. Second I know you must be curious who I am and what is my identity? Raj Bhai will clear all your doubts. Third I am glad you are my bhabhi. Look at you so beautiful and gorgeous. I didn't really wanted Bhai to be in a deal or a marriage of convenience just because of that pig-faced bitch. Fourth I heard about that mad man who is behind you. Don't worry we all are with you. I will I mean Raj Bhai will punch his nose and make sure that ugly faced will regret his actions. And....." Roohani covered her running mouth preventing her from talking more and she glared at Roohani. Roohani mocked her glares back and she giggled.
"This girl once starts talking her mouth runs like a river. Anu you will give your bhabhi a headache." Maa said laughing and she pouted.
"Babe your wife is complaining about me to my bhabhi." She said faking the whine looking at Papa.
"Don't stop my daughter from talking. We have already missed this voice for years now. Now just let her talk it's really music to ears." Papa said caressing her hair.
"Definitely we missed these giggles and talks. Akshita my child you don't know but when she was in India everyone in the house used to sit together after dinner and talk about their days until 12 am. Those were really the days." Dadu said smiling lovingly looking at her.
"What is the use of reminiscing those memories? When this little one is leaving once her brother comes again." Roohani said sadly in a sarcastic tone.
"What does this mean?" Maa asked looking at Anamika and her smile became awkward.
"I.." Roohani didn't let her speak and continued.
"Her brother is coming to India and then she will stay in India with her brother and not with us. The house he has eyes on has some cases going on with so he is waiting. " Roohani said eyeing Anamika and she scratched her nape.
"Why he can also stay here with you? We are your family in India then why will you stay away from us? Is he insecure that we will steal you away from him?" Maa asked and Anamika spoke calming her.
"It's not like that. He just doesn't wants to trouble you. You know my father...." She said and Maa stopped her.
"I know but you and him are not burden but a family. Let him come to India I will punish him." Maa said and Anamika added.
"Yes pull his ears. I told him but you know how much possessive he is when it comes to me. He doesn't listens to me twist his ears from my side too." She said and Maa nodded.
"But before that your ears need to be twisted miss. Drama. You were going to leave us once your brother came. After going to Russia you just forgot us. You give us so little calls. Once in a year we hear from you. At least you should update us on your well-being once a month." Roohani complained and Maa twisted Anamika's ears nodding at Roohani's comments.
