Justin sighed and leaned against the counter top as Y/N sat at the kitchen table doing math problems. He could tell that something was wrong with her but she wouldn't budge on telling him.
"Boo, what happened? Why are you so upset? Is it the school work? I could help you..." He said in a whisper. She just sniffled and continued to scribble down on the paper. This is when he got serious.
"Listen, Y/N, you need to tell me what's wrong. I'm trying to help you baby and you hiding things from me won't solve anything or help you..."
"They pick on me."
Justin sat beside her and rubbed tiny circles in her back. He couldn't believe that people would pick on his girl because she was honestly so gorgeous and smart.
"What? Why? They're just jealous if anything."
She shook her head no and looked at him with tears in her eyes. "You don't get it. I've been picked on my entire life and laughed at because of my skin. Because of my hair. How I talk. Because I'm a nerd. How short I am. How I walk. The list goes on and on and I can't do it anymore, Justin." Y/N broke down and Justin instantly grabbed her and held her close to him. He laid his chin on her head.
"It's okay, it's okay. You're okay. You're with me now and I promise I won't let anybody hurt you." He held her tighter as she cried into his chest. "I hate it! I hate myself!"
Justin chewed on his lip and sat her up. "Listen, Y/N. You're beautiful. I'm sorry that those girls don't know the real meaning of beauty but you shouldn't listen to them. At all. They're just jealous haters who don't get any attention so they try to bring other people down with them because of how they're feeling. I happen to love your skin, your short hair, the way you talk, the way you walk, how smart you are, and how tiny you are. You fit me perfectly and I wouldn't have you any other way, okay? So don't worry about them and what they may say. You're mine and you know I would give you the world if I could."
Y/N smiled and leaned up to kiss his lips. "Thank you."
