Justin walked into the kitchen with Y/N and all of her relatives. They instantly stopped talking and looked over at Justin, who watched them cook in amazement. "Hey babe." Y/N said with a smile and took her boyfriend in her arms. He repeated the action and wrapped his arms around her waist, burying his head in the crook of her neck.

"Hey..I just missed you. The food smells good." He said, kissing her neck softly. Y/N's aunt giggled. "Oh I know! I put my foot in these greens this time! Ain't that right momma?" She said, asking Y/N's grandma, who just simply nodded and continued to clean out the turkey.

Justin's face turned to one of shock and he pulled away from Y/N slowly. "Wait...she actually put her foot in the food? That's nasty. I'm not eating it." He whispered to her. She laughed loudly and sat back down on the bar stool. "No, Justin. It's just a common phrase that black families use when somebody cooks something really really amazing." His face relaxed a little and all of the women in the kitchen laughed at him.

"Aw he's adorable, cousin! Where did you find him?" Y/N's cousin said with a laugh. "It's not his fault, girl. I don't think they have Thanksgiving in Canada." Justin scoffed. "Y'all are talking about me like I'm not sitting right here!"

Everybody laughed again and he walked out the kitchen mumbling profanities.
