Justin grabbed ahold of Y/N's hand and smiled. "You're finally legal to do whatever you want now. How about we go out and celebrate?" She nodded. That sounded like the perfect idea.
The two walked silently along the boardwalk and listened to the ocean until Justin made them stop at this bar that was decorated beautifully. It was a lounge typed area in the back that Justin led her to and they both sat down. "I hope you like your birthday surprise." He smirked. Y/N felt a bit uneasy because she knew how he was. This boy could be up to anything.
A man in all black walked over to them with a smile and Justin handed him a stack of money. "Bring us the best you have." He nodded quickly and ran off towards the back. She turned her head and glared and Justin. "What's all this about? What's going on?"
He smiled, grabbed her hand, and rubbed his thumb over her knuckles. "Patience, love, patience." She just simply nodded her head and waited to see what Justin could possibly have planned for the biggest birthday of her life. As if on cue, the man came back with four bottles in his hands. He placed them on the table in front of Justin with a smile. "Mr. Bieber."
Justin nodded at him and turned his attention back to her. "I picked four of the best alcohol they have here for you to try for your birthday. I wanted to be the first person you drink with." She grinned from ear to ear and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Let's get to drinking then, babe."

Justin carried Y/N over the threshold of their condo and placed her on the soft carpet floor. "I actually have one more surprise, babe..." He whispered in her ear. "It's on the balcony."
She snapped her head around and crossed her arms across her chest. "Are you trying to kill me on my birthday? Is that what this is?" Justin chuckled and shook his head no. "Please, just go outside to the balcony. I'm not trying to harm you in any way, beautiful." Hesitant and unsure, Y/N walked out on the balcony and nearly lost her breath. "Justiiiiiiiin!" She turned on her heels and slapped his chest softly. "Why are you like this?"
"Because it's your birthday and I love you." When he said this, he fell down on to one knee and held her hands in his. "I love you more than my life itself and you make me the happiest man alive. Will you marry me?"
