"Good now go and freshen up and meet in the dining room." I said and left him.

One done, one left. Next, I had to talk to my husband.

Upon reaching the centre room I immediately spotted my husband, still looking into that mobile.

I went near him and said, "Caesar, why didn't you greet your son?"

"My son?" He scoffed. "I don't remember having one." He said.

Oh my goodness, what has gotten into them?

"Then why did you him call to meet at my house?" I asked him

"I just wanted to meet my grandson." He said

"Do I look like a fool to you?" I asked him

"Pardon,"

"Oh please, I have spent 23 years of my life with you. Wouldn't I know whether you were lying?" I said

"I just wanted to talk to him about a contract-" he began

"But why my house, you can do your business outside in that..." I couldn't remember what they call it. I began tapping my foot and snapping my fingers.

"Ummm..."

"Bureau?" He said

"Yes, that."

He chuckled and said "You will never change, Irene. I came here because I want your help in persuading him for the deal." He told.

"Me? How can I help?" I asked puzzled.

"I signed a contract with a man, Julius Kilmarth and I want Ace to agree with it." Hmm.. Julius Kilmarth, that name seems to be heard of I just can't place my finger where?

"What kind of contract, Caesar?" Please don't be it. Please don't be it. I crossed my fingers.

"A matrimonial contract, Irene." He opened.

"WHAT?!"

What yes! Yes-yes! Oh My Goodness Gracious! Oh yes! Ace will finally get married!

"Keep your voice down." He hushed me.

"Really, how is the girl? Is she beautiful?" I started bombarding him with my questions.

"Stop, I'll tell you all about her. Just first persuade you son. Can you do that? He asked.

"Ok, I'll try." I told him

"No. You won't try. You will do it. Because if you don't then he will be a bachelor for all his life."

What? Nope, can't let that happen to my little boy.

"So...?"

"I'll do it." I confirmed.

"I knew you would." He said before slowly leaning in. His hand brushing my chin, almost cupping my face.

"Ma... where is my towel?" We heard a shout which pulled us away.

"Coming!" I shouted and cleared my throat.

Thank goodness, he shouted before something could've happened. Something that could complicate things more than they already were. Phew!
