pov : oliver
Ever since she entered my life, I felt like I am a fallen leaf floating on a river. She is the fire in my heart. She is everywhere in my body. She stands before my eyes when I close them. She is killing me constantly with her beauty. She is an angel from heaven, brought down just for me. I was born for her. I wanted her. I wanted her to make me whole. Take my soul, my life and my heart. My everything. They were made for her.
She is like a bird, always flying, always soaring. Hard to catch.
Love is like a magical web. Nobody has escaped without getting caught by them. And I never thought I would get stuck on it. But, I am. I am stuck on it.
I'm stuck on it hard.
My hormones are always on fire whenever she is around. They burn with such a heavy passion. You know that feeling you get when you look at a woman and you just know. That you have found her. The one destined for you.
I have found her.
"What do you want Ashton?" I asked annoyed a little, placing the phone on my ear. I looked at Cupcake laid back on the sand, star-gazing.
"You free tomorrow dude?" He asked.
"No," I said.
"I know you are free," Ashton said, knowingly. "How is it going with your girl?" He asked and I smiled, feeling my insides warm-up at the thought of her. I liked how he said, 'your girl'. Yeah, she is mine alright. I looked to the side to see her standing up and walking along the beach now. Her feet never touched the water. I remember seeing the fear in her eyes when I held her to the water. She was so frightened.
Why?
Something must have happened.
"Marvellous," I answered. "You know that feeling when you get your Pizza."
"Yeah?" Ashton asked.
"The Pizza guy comes in and he rings the doorbell. Then you open the door and he hands you your Pizza. And you feel the warmth radiating through the box?"
"Yes well?" Ashton asked, clearly confused.
"That's how I feel when I talk to her. Very warm and happy inside." I said and there was a moment of silence from the other side.
"Dude. You just compared your feelings to a Pizza. You are weird." Ashton said and I laughed. "And whipped!"
"Treating a woman like a queen does not mean I am 'whipped'. It's called being a man." I answered smoothly and Ashton laughed. "By the way, you are whipped too," I said, referring to Samantha. She was a very strong woman and now she is a friend of my lady.
"You got that right," Ashton said. I could hear the hint of sadness in his tone and I pitied him a little. "Hey. You should go. I gotta go anyway. Goodnight dude." He hung up and I placed the phone on the table before turning to look at Cupcake to find her missing. She was nowhere to be seen.
My heartbeat skyrocketed as panic set in me.
Where is she?
I whirled around to see her jumping up and down on the bed on the porch. I smiled at the sight and walked towards her. She was enjoying herself, jumping up and down. Her blonde hair bounced around her as she squealed in delight. She looked like a child. I knew she wouldn't be doing this if she was not drunk.
"Come on! It's so fun!" She urged me on and I shook my head, feeling amused. She rolled her eyes, determined to not take 'no' as an answer and pulled me on my collar. My eyes widened and she pulled me on top. It only took a few seconds before both of us lost our balance and fell on the bed. I fell on top of her, and I immediately pulled myself up with my hands, hovering over her, careful not to hurt her. My heart hammered against my chest when I saw her looking at my lips.
My heart leapt in joy when she gazed at me that way. Due to our proximity, I could feel her welcoming warmth. The desire to touch her soft skin grew and grew and I couldn't take it anymore. Leaning closer, her breath hitched and I couldn't help but smile in happiness.
I do affect her.
Just like she does to me.
I was trying hard not to show my desire but after she bit her tempting perfect lips, I couldn't control it. My lips brushed her neck, very softly, testing her reaction and she craned her neck more to give me access. Her action made me feel like the happiest man in the world and I was. My body was pressed onto hers and I could feel her every curve. Our skin made contact making her shudder. A flare of desire went up through my spine and I almost cursed when I could feel her legs wrap themselves around my torso, causing more contact.
It was hard.
And she knew because there was a naughty smirk stretching her lips.
"What a naughty woman." My voice had become an octave lower due to my desire. I teased, giving butterfly kisses down her jaw and she shivered. I pulled away and she opened her eyes at the sudden loss and I tried to suppress my goofy grin. I rested my forehead against hers and tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.
"According to Greek Mythology, humans were created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate beings, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves." I said and she raised her eyebrows, still looking confused. "I have found my half," I said and the surprise was evident in her eyes. There was also adoration and something else, that always seemed to flash whenever I told things like these to her.
"Oliver... Don't you think it's too fast?" She quickly masked her feelings with indifference and I always wondered why she did that. Why is she hiding her feelings from me? Something must have happened for her not to give in to the desire. My angel has been through something. She will tell me, once she feels comfortable. I'm sure she will. Give her time, Oliver. Give her time.
"I don't care about time. Time just drags things. It makes things complicated. Why should I waste my time? Everything feels so perfect with you. I want you. You are the one, Aira." I said her name, telling her how much I mean it.
"I like you, Aira. More than I thought I would." I confessed and her eyes sparkled.
"How can you say that? You only know me for a few days, Oiver." She said, her cat-like eyes lighting up in confusion.
"Because every time I think of my future, I seeyou in it," I replied, instantly with no hesitation. She closed her eyes, almost as if trying to control her emotions. My lips reached her forehead, feathering a soft kiss. "I will wait for you," I whispered, promising.
