"You want to?", for the second time, Irldzen felt like he's about to die for.

"Master", all of them said and bowed. Irldzen heart was racing rapidly. He's totally gonna die today. How could he be so reckless like that. The Head Master must be furious.

"You want to go, Irldzen?", the Head Master's voice was too plain. Irldzen was out of words.

'Should I say that I was just being silly, funny? No, no be serious l. Yes, yes, but-'

"He's asking you", Carl whispered while nudging his arm. "Yes, master" shoot! "No-no, master. I was being silly just now." Carl shook his head hearing the unreasonable answer by the talented scholar. 'How can he-?'

"HAHAHAHA!" They all look confused. Irldzen felt relief that the Head Master actually got his 'jokes'.

"So funny, young scholar. Come to my room. Now!"

Gulp. 'I'm done for'. "This is a bad sign, right?"

"Not a sign anymore. Make sure to come out alive", Carl said while patting the younger's shoulder. Irldzen then walked away to the room but he still caught the devilish laughter of the other scholars.

He knocked before coming in. "Have a seat". Irldzen then sat without hesitation. "Here", the Head Master pushed a letter to him. "This is-?", Irldzen looked at the Head Master across him. "You're going there tonight." Irldzen couldn't hide his joyed feelings anymore. "Don't be too excited! As in exchange, I want you to make a report on the dinner."

"I'm sorry, Master", Irldzen felt so dumb today. May it's really because of the lack of sleep.

As he walked into the kitchen, they were all looking at him. "How is it?", Carl asked worriedly as he saw Irldzen's sad expression. "I get this", he showed the letter.

"What the -" Irldzen burst into a laughter.

"I am a professional", he said proudly. They rolled their eyes.

"So, you're going?"
"How did you-?"
"What are you?"
"At this point, the Head Master can already arrange Irldzen and his daughter's wedding"
(and so much more comments from the other scholars)

"Stop, everyone", Irldzen said while smiling widely. Everyone knew that he's that happy because going to the king's dinner meant no dinner with Princess Adera.
