The decepticon enforcer slowly approached the suburbs where he saw Bumblebee in the distance.

At first, he knew not to attack immediately, as he knows that would create chaos and chaos in a mission is something that causes profound loathing with everyone involved. Except for maybe Frenzy, Rumble, and Buzzsaw. That's a different story for a different time.

Barricade watched a human climb into Bumblebee. The human seemed to be a teenager. 16, maybe even 17, depending on when he was born. The human must've been of some significance to the autobots. Which meant that he has information that other humans don't.

This sparked curiosity within Barricade. And so, he silently followed the autobot and the young charge.

The decepticon kept a short yet tolerable distance between himself and the autobot. Knowing how skittish the autobots can be when they know they're being followed is especially difficult in a strange environment such as Earth.

Thankfully for Barricade, he has been on Earth much longer than the autobot scout, which gives him a tactical advantage long-term.

Barricade knew something was awry when he saw Bumblebee slowly taking the human to a more secluded area of the city. "Wait... what's he doing?" He whispered to himself as he kept a watchful eye on Bumblebee.

The autobot started going a little bit more faster with his acceleration.

"He's not going for a simple drive..." Then it all made sense to the decepticon enforcer. "Ahhh... He's luring me here to protect the human. Do-gooder 'till the end." Barricade mumbled as he kept his tail on the autobot scout.

Before Barricade could follow Bumblebee further, a train was seen in the distance, almost colliding with the yellow sports car as he sped over the tracks, leaving Barricade to wait for the train to pass by.

"Lugnuts!" Barricade grumbled to himself as he impatiently idled his engine and blew out a puff of smoke out of his exhaust pipe.

Just as the train rolled away, Barricade was already on the move, searching for Bumblebee and the human. He slowly moved throughout the area, peering to the left and right.

Right as he made it to the end lane of the old and rusted tracks, Barricade heard a loud screeching sound behind him. He reflexively tried to reverse, but was too late for the autobot who had sped through over the tracks and in front of the deep canal.

It appeared as though Bumblebee was done running and hiding as he made the human youth climb out of his interior and started transforming, standing protectively in front of the sweaty teenager.

Barricade transformed swiftly and chuckled. "Heheh... you lured me here to protect the humans, didn't you? You actually care about them..." He said in mock awe. "Humans are savage beings, not the sort worth risking your axle for." He said as he formed his buzzsaws from his hands.

Bumblebee stayed silent as he unsheathed his cannons from his hands.

The decepticon enforcer waited a moment before speaking again. "Pretty quiet... oh yeah, you can't talk. You're lucky Megatron only ripped your voice transmitter. When I'm done with you, there won't be any spare parts left, auto-byte." He spat as he lunged himself at the scout.
