In Command

Theo looked back down the hallway as he followed President Segura out of the building. He swallowed hoping he was making the smart decision. He hopped into the car.

Keira arrived at the main building stopping in the doorway. The raptors looked at her awaiting orders.

"This is not easy, I don't speak Raptor and you don't speak English!" she said frustrated. "Wait here!" she said placing her hands up. Yin tilted her head before Keira ran into the building, she hid in a break of the wall as she saw some guards enter another room. She heard clicking on the tile floors and turned to see Yin and the others there.

"The hell...I told you guys to wait!" she said. "How did you even get in?"

Yin's claw tapped on the floor impatiently. Keira looked back to the door.

"Oh right, you guys can open doors." she said thinking back to her parent's stories. "Alright, well just...nevermind, come on." She walked on. A door opened, she stopped as Gray was shoved out of the lab roughly causing him to fall to the ground.

Yin growled.

"No!" Keira held her hand up. She walked over to Gray and pulled him up.

"K-K-K-K.."

"Keira." she finished for him.

"You're alive!" he said happily.

'Yeah, of course I am." she said looking at him bizarrely.

"President Segura said he killed you."

"Pfft, he wishes."

Gray went to respond when his jaw dropped at the sight of the raptors.

"Keira?" he squeaked.

"It's okay, they're with me." she said.

"W-what?"

"Long story! Where's Segura?"

"He left with Theo."

"With Theo?!"

"He's working with him Keira. Even after thinking you were dead, he left with him."

Keira bit her lower lip. "No...it can't be true."

"I saw him leave with my own eyes. He told me he was doing the right thing."

Keira clenched her fists at her side. "Segura is so dead." she snarled. The raptors chirped behind her. 

"Segura's men are still holding everyone in the control room, he had me storing embryos for him. I'm sorry I couldn't stop him."

"It's not your fault Gray. Don't worry, he's not getting off this island."

Keira peered into the lab at some of the guards. She looked to the raptors and opened the door before waving her hand. 

"After you guys!"

Yin raced in excitedly. Keira closed the door.

"You might want to look away." Keira said. Gray turned around quickly as they heard a shout and then screams.

Gray turned green as Keira held him up steadily. She grabbed his hand and led him the other way as they searched rooms. She found a jacket on a chair.

"This is Segura's." she said recognizing the jacket Segura had worn when he attempted to ambush her at the Bungalow. She ran out of the room before heading to the lab, she opened the door and waved the jacket. Yin jumped down from one of the tables and went towards it. She sniffed it and tossed it to the others who ripped at it.

"Go." Keira said. Gray stepped out of the other room to see the raptors take out of the lab in different directions.

Owen arose as they had figured out a plan to overpower the guards with their guns. He looked to Zach who nodded, Doug gave a thumbs up. Claire took a deep breath getting ready to let out a piercing scream but suddenly the door handle began jingling.

"The hell-"

The door opened as the guards went over to investigate only to be tackled down and bit by two juvenile raptors. The group panicked backing away as Owen stood in complete shock.

"How-"

Keira and Gray appeared at the door. "Enough!" she said. The raptors lifted their heads dripping with blood before they heard a call down the hall and took off.

Owen didn't move for a moment as he saw Keira assist Gray who was hurling out his guts beside her at the sight of the killed guards.

"Zach, can you help out here?" she called over to him. Everyone stood as they were looking at a ghost.

"Zach! Claire! Somebody!" she said as Gray continued to heave. Zach moved quickly to his brother's aid.

"You're alive." Zach smiled.

"Oh come on guys, after all we've been through did you honestly think a politician was going to take me out!" she said.

Owen walked over pulling her into a tight hug, she held onto him. He raked his fingers through her hair as he kissed the top of her head repeatedly. She held him closer.

"I'm okay." she told him softly as she heard him crying into her neck. "I'm alright."

"Damn right you are," he said pulling away, "you promised we spend the rest of our lives together. Remember?"

"Of course i do." she smiled at him. He kissed her forehead. She heard more screeches down the hallway. Everyone glanced at the door.

"Owen, he has our son." she said.

"He went with him willingly."' Zach said.

"I don't care!" Keira snapped." He's my son and he's not leaving this island. The raptors have Segura's scent...they're currently seeking out every guard with his scent but we need to follow them and get Theo back."

Owen nodded. "How did you get the raptors going like that?"

She frowned before explaining what happened to Blue.

"She'll be alright Owen." she told him.

"I know. She's tough as hell."

Keira turned to her friend.

"Lowery, get this sanctuary back up and running."

"You got it."

"Doug and Zach, we're going to need help getting our precious cargo back here." Owen said. "Ready?"

"Let's rock and roll!" Doug said.

Owen ran beside his wife as they came upon the raptors. Yin looked back and forth between Keira and Owen.

"You can take over, I'm not cut out for this alpha stuff." she said.

Owen lifted his hand but Yin's eyes were on Keira.

"Look at him!" Keira said pointing at Owen.

Owen chuckled. "Blue, put you in charge."
