Sakura's Pov

"It's always going to be hard day but it gets easier every year... I miss him so much to but we have to stay strong, it's what he would've wanted.." I speak softly to my daughter Lila, it's the night of her 16th birthday. The day had been tough on both of us but I tried to make sure nothing made the day to hard on her.

"I just wish it never happened I Miss him so much mom" She Sobs  softly into my arms I look over to her door Seeing Ace looking in, I laugh at him just peaking his head in I motion for him to come into the room with us.

He walks over and sits next to me but grabs Lilas hand and hugs her then he wraps his arms around me as we talk about memories of her brother Joshua, He was 16 when he passed away 2 years ago on Lilas Birthday.. He had been on his way back from his best freinds house and driver had swerved towards him he tried avoiding but passed away on impact.

Lila's Pov

It's June 27th 2 days before camp starts, 2 days after I turned 16. Life has a weird way of running I always think, My mom's one of the best examples. She's the best mom ever but she's done things people could never imagine...

"Mom I'm scared, 2 months staying away is a lot. And I don't know anyone there, I'm excited to though but what if I don't do well there..?" I look at my mom who's making dinner

"Lila Sweetie it'll be okay we come to camp next weekend to see how your doing and you can always come back home if you hate it. But I think this will be a good distraction for you and you'll mabye even meet your future best freinds.. or husband" she whispers the last bit but I hear her.

"Mommm no I don't want to date right now I need to focus on family,  freinds, and myself not boys" I roll my eyes but subconsciously I think about a certain boy..

"I use to think that to.. but literally that month I met a certain boy who's currently laying on the couch drooling" I look over at my dad who has 2 of our cats laying on him, Jayde(8 year old boy cat), and Milly(9 month old kitten)

Obviously this is a kinda wrap up for now but Lila will be getting her own book probably longer then this because I have lots more ideas for hers. I think that book will be a fully publish at once soo till then! Love you guys lots

Note from Jan-2025, Lilac is being Written still I want to release it all at once. I've been very busy in my life so it hasn't been my priority. Some of this chapter will not align with the next book and I will fix that eventually🫶🫶, and I've seen some people ask. Both Eloise and Eli passed at this point it's been over 20 years since we last saw Sakura & Ace, Both cats passed from old age living thee life to the fullest ♥️ Love you all thank you so much fro supporting it's nice to see people commenting when I haven't been here in a while.
