Ovalsan's log: to be honest I don't play much Dragon Quest games the two I had played had similarities in some parts.
Dragon Quest your story was good even if it was in a VR simulator so I checked out Dragon Quest the adventure of Dai for a first Friday that is.
The thing in a nutshell it the same old same when it comes to fantasy mumbo jumbo.
Author note: fantasy in general are to me at the bottom of the barrel with whatever anyone can come up with there's always a Hero Journey thing I could add an additional genre to stuff like this just make it interesting but it's no different than anyone else even if one does push the envelope in their own way that is.
