"Y/N," Valentino calls as I lift my head with blurry eyes.

I hum.

I fell asleep on Valentino after spewing my guts and crying to him, these are one of the few times Valentino is actually nice to me. It makes me think that everything is fine, and it helps me forget that my boss is a piece of shit. It's these moments that make me love the peace, and love him.

"I've been thinking about it," Valentino begins as I shift, "you've been a relatively good girl recently and since tomorrow is the start of your porn star life, I think you deserve a reward."

I look at him, "like what?"

He smiles, "that girl, Selena?" I nod, "you haven't seen her since I saved you that day. I believe it's time for you to see her again."

I weakly smile, "really?"

He nods, "of course. I know you were upset before you fell asleep, going on about how you wished your life was back to normal."

I nod and rub my eyes with a yawn, "and how will you contact her?"

Valentino smirks, "don't worry your pretty little head off. I've already thought it over and Kitty has done the footwork."

"Kitty?" I ask, "what did she do?"

He kisses the top of my head, "you ask to many questions. You should just be glad I'm letting you see her, I can always make this the last time."

I swallowed dryly at his statement, "um...okay. Thanks, Val."

He smiles, "that's the first time you've called me that~."

I feel my cheeks heat up, "I meant to say Valentino. Sorry."

He shakes his head, "no, no. Don't apologize. A lot of people call me that, though I do wish you had a more special name for me."

The doors to the penthouse opened to reveal Vox who was glaring at Valentino before he noticed me. He didn't seem happy.

"Voxxy~. What's got you so upset?" Valentino asks as he shifts into sitting up.

"Why the fuck would you pawn me off?!" Vox yells.

Valentino smirks, "whatever do you mean~?"

Vox takes a step toward us, "you're fucking using me to get some random ass demon over here!"

"Using?" Valentino hums, "more like exploiting."

Vox rolls his eyes, "doesn't matter! I have way more important things to do than babysit some low life!"

I speak up, "are you talking about Selena?"

Vox looks over at me, "fuck if I know!" He throws his hands into the air, "Valentino, I've got much more important things to do than to sit around and—."

I look at Valentino, "wait, did you seriously use Selena'a love for Vox as an excuse to get her over here?"

Valentino smirks and stands up, "it worked didn't it?" Valentino walks over to Vox, "it's just for a few hours Voxxy~. It's not going to kill you."

Vox's eyes narrow, "I would rather kill myself than have to babysit some—."

"Then do it," Valentino says with a smirk, "go ahead. Better yet, let me help you."

Vox doesn't respond and looks over at me, "you're fucking helping me, got it?"

I salute the TV demon, "yes sir!"
