TW: Alcohol, drugs (mentioned), abuse (mentioned)
A/N:
I've finally gotten back into writing this fic and let me tell ya, getting motivation is hardYOUR POV:
Throughout the rest of the day I noticed that Angel Dust kept his distance from me and every glance he gave me was filled with sadness before he'd look away. I've come to the conclusion that even after this long day at the studio, he's still upset about the cut on my cheek.
I didn't necessarily mind the cut, sure it hurt and would leave a scar, but if it meant that Angel Dust wouldn't be hurt and I had to take the abuse...I'd do it everytime.
The recording wrapped up as Valentino had been pulled away by Kitty, who seemed to have had a message for the moth. Valentino swiftly left along with Kitty as I stayed in place. I wasn't sure if I was to follow Valentino or stay put, but I stayed since Valentino didn't tell me to come with them.
"Y/N," Angel Dust calls as he walks over to me while fixing his clothes, "I, uh, I thought about it...and I was wonderin'—as an apology—if I could take ya out."
My brows furrow, "I thought you were gay?" I then smile playfully, "aw~. Did I turn you straight? Is my charm so irresistible?"
Angel Dust just blinks at me, "no. Never. But I meant as an apology for, uh, the cut."
I placed a hand on my bandaged cheek, "oh it's fine." I say, "really. You don't need to take me out for something like this."
He shakes my head, "it would make me feel better. Please?"
I groan, "fiiine. Where are we going anyway?"
He smiles, "I was thinkin' a bar, ya know, get drunk and have some fun. You in?"
Despite his good idea of going to the bar and getting flat out wasted, I gave a sheepish smile. He frowns, "you don't drink?"
I shrug, "I've tried maybe like once or twice. It's not really my thing. But I'll tag along, who knows? Maybe one drink or two won't kill me."
Angel Dust smiles brightly, "that's the spirit." I follow Angel Dust out of the studio and toward the elevator as I pull my phone out to text Valentino that Angel Dust and I were going out for a few drinks, but he stops me. "Don't tell him."
I look up at him with a confused look, "why not?"
Angel Dust presses the elevator button, "cuz he won't agree with it."
"But won't we be punished if we don't say something?" I respond.
"Listen, I'd suggest tellin' one of the other two if I were. I don't have to tell Valentino shit since he doesn't own my soul outside the studio. But for you? I'd cover my ass." Angel Dust admits as the elevator doors slide open.
"Y/N and Angel Dust!" Oliver greets with a smile, "how odd to see you two together." The two of us step inside, "where are we going?"
"The main floor," Angel Dust says as Oliver nods and presses the button.
"You two know each other?" I ask looking between them.
"Oh yeah. Angel Dust showed up a little after I came here and he's been nothing but nice to me," Oliver says with a smile, "he's even offered to take me out but I always decline."
I smile, "that's what we're doing right now. Wanna join us?"
Oliver shakes his head, "I'm okay. Thanks though. What happened to your cheek?"
"Oh, I just cut myself on accident with a prop. Nothing too serious," I say to him. I look back down at my phone and decide to text Vox instead since he's been the only helpful and welcoming Vee.
The elevator doors open up as I send the text, "you two have fun now." Oliver says as we exit the elevator with a wave.
"Let's get goin'. I know this crazy bar we can go to," Angel Dust says as he places his hand into his chest fur and pulls out a pair of pink glasses.
"You just keep those there?" I ask as he puts them on.
"Yeah, it's a good place to store shit." Angel Dust replies as I follow him down the street. Despite Selena always dragging me to places before getting my freedom taken from me, I've never really been one to explore hell. So when Angel Dust began to lead me down a shady ass street, I was on edge.
"You sure this is the right place..?" I ask as I wearily glance around, "this place is super shady."
"Do you not get out and explore hell?" Angel Dust asks, "all of hell is shady...it's literally hell."
I roll my eyes as Angel Dust opens up the door for me that leads us into the bar. I step inside with him behind me as he takes the lead and brings me over to the bar top. Angel Dust sits down in one of the seats as I sit in the one beside him. He takes off his glasses and places them back inside his chest fluff.
"Bartender~." Angel Dust calls, "can we get two Bloody Mary's?"
The bartender looks at us, "sure but it'll cost ya."
Angel Dust smirks, "I can pay you by sucking you off~. Doesn't that sound—?"
"Disgusting? Yeah, it does." The bartender replies, "if you ain't got no real cash, then fuck off."
I sigh and reach into my purse as I pull out a wad of cash and set it on the table, "will this be enough?"
The bartender smiles and swiftly takes the cash, "two Bloody Mary's coming right up."
The bartender walks as Angel Dust looks at me with a pout with his cheek in his hand, "I had it handled. You didn't need to pay."
I smirk playfully, "well he didn't seem too thrilled to have you coming onto him."
"Yeah, but who could resist my charm~?" He smirks as I roll my eyes.
Our drinks arrive as Angel Dust downs his within seconds, "eh...not as good as the others I've had. What about yours?"
I tasted it with a shrug, "it's...okay. I'll drink it."
Well it didn't take long for me to down the whole thing while Angel Dust and I talked. After about two drinks, I was completed wasted as I rambled onto Angel Dust about my problems.
"So my parents were both drug addicts and they were the worrrrst!" I slurred, "I swore I'd never try any type of drug after seeing what happened to them. Like I remember one time my mom offered me something...I don't, I don't remember what it was...but it was something!" I declared, "and she pressured me to try it but I always told her no and one time," I began to laugh at the memory, "she beat the shit out of me before crying and apologizing."
Angel Dust's eyes soften as I continued to speak, "and my dad wasn't any better. My dad was a big provider for the cartel and like we were rich, fuckin' loaded. But one time my dad got caught and the big bad people came and raided our house and I happened to be caught in the crossfire," I giggled, "and then they shot me!" My giggle turned into a laughing fit, "and that's when I woke up here in hell!"
I pause and frown as my voice renders into something quiet, "and I went through all that trouble to be a good girl and still got sent here. Ironic right?"
Angel Dust frowns, "well then Heaven was a fool to not take you." I looked at him with glassy eyes, "you're so incredible and you did everything right...but hey, everything happens for a reason right? Maybe some terrible shit would have happened if you went to Heaven, I don't know. But ya got me here and I've got you so—are you fucking crying?"
"Y-Yessss! I am, so what?!" I sniffle as Angel Dust softly smiles and hops off the stool.
"Come on, let's go home." I nod and get off the chair as I follow Angel Dust out of the bar and back to V Tower.
When we arrive, Angel and I go our separate ways as he goes to his room and I go to Valentino's penthouse. The walk and 'fresh' air of hell had helped me to sober up a bit, so that's a good thing. But when I walked into the penthouse, that's when I saw Valentino standing there with a glare...and if looks could kill, I'd be dead.
