A bond so strong, a heart that renews,
With every smile, every laugh and every tear,
Her Ammi's love is always near.In her eyes, a reflection shines bright,
A love so pure, a guiding light,
Through every step, every fall and every rise,
Her Ammi's love opens wide the skies. With gentle hands and a caring soul,
Her Ammi guides her through life's role,
Teaching her to stand, to walk and to be,
A strong and brave individual, wild and free. The daughter's heart beats with love and glee,
For her Ammi, her hero, her destiny,
A love so strong, it forever will stand,
A daughter's love for her Ammi, hand in hand."
-jishu-THIRD PERSON,
Hani, O Hani , who are talking with open the door common faster or I'm gonna break it off , you hear me ??!
"Yess Ammi! I'm coming, I'm coming!"
"You better come faster!" Her ammi murmured from out of doors.
Hani spun around, expecting to see Nooraiz behind her, but he was nowhere to be found. She felt a pang of confusion and concern. She turned to the door and opened it, thinking he might be outside, but the hallway was empty. She stepped back into the room, relief washing over her. "He must have left," she thought to herself.
Just then, her Ammi walked into the room, glancing around curiously. "Hani, what's going on? You look a bit shaken." She said, her eyes filled with concern.
Hani shook her head, trying to compose herself. "Nothing, Ammi. I just...thought I saw something." She said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Her Ammi nodded, seemingly accepting the explanation. "Well, if you're sure everything is okay, I'll get back to my chores." She said, her eyes scanning the room once more before exiting.
Hani's eyes flashed with defiance as she protested, "Ammi, what's going on? Why are you suspecting me like this? I'm not one of those girls who sneak around and chat with friends all night!" She said, her voice rising in indignation. "You know me, Ammi! I'm not like that. I don't even have friends who would be up this early, let alone be chatting with them!" She exclaimed, her hands on her hips. "Why are you treating me like I'm some kind of criminal? I'm your daughter, Ammi! I deserve your trust!"
Ammi's expression turned stern, her voice low and firm. "Then why were you shouting so much, Hani? You know the neighbors get easily disturbed by it!" She hissed, her eyes narrowing. "Did you pray Fajr? It's almost time for the Azan, go make Wudu and pray! And yes, after praying, come to me, I need your help to prepare breakfast. Got it, Hani?" She said, her tone brooking no argument. Hani's defiance deflated, replaced by a sheepish look as she nodded and scurried off to perform her prayers, knowing better than to disobey her Ammi's instructions.
Hani trudged downstairs, her eyes heavy with sleep, and pleaded with her Ammi, "Ammi, can't I sleep for a bit? Please? I'm literally dozing off...I'll help you after some rest, I promise." She begged, her voice weak with exhaustion.
But her Ammi stood firm, unmoved by Hani's pleading expression. "Do what I told you to, Hani. First, do the dishes, then make the toast, and after that, you can help me with the eggs. And don't even think about sleeping until everything is done. Or else, you know what's going to happen." She said, her voice firm and warning, her eyes flashing with a hint of sternness.
Hani knew that tone all too well, and she knew that arguing further would be futile. With a sigh, she resigned herself to her fate and began to do the dishes, her heavy eyes and sluggish movements a testament to her exhaustion.
She thought to herself thinking, sometime I think she's very innocent as she act like one! and sometimes I think she's very strict with me also she acts both, it depends on situation, haha!
Hani's giggles filled the air, her eyes sparkling with mirth. Her Ammi's expression softened, a warm smile spreading across her face.
"Aha! What's got you so amused, Hani?" Ammi asked, her eyes crinkling at the corners.
Hani's grin grew wider, but she didn't share her thoughts. She simply enjoyed the moment, basking in the joy and love that filled the room.
Ammi's smile grew wider, her eyes shining with delight. "Well, whatever it is, I'm glad to see you so happy, beta!" She said, her voice warm and affectionate.
Hani's eyes shone with gratitude as she gazed at her Ammi. "Wow, Ammi, this much love I wasn't expecting from you," she said, her voice filled with sincerity.
Ammi's face pretended to be stern, her eyes narrowing in a playful glare. "What, you thought we got you from the garbage or something?" she teased, her voice laced with humor.
Hani's face flushed, her eyes widening in mock horror. "Ammi, no! I didn't mean that!" she protested, laughing.
Ammi's stern facade cracked, and she burst out laughing. "Gotcha! Oh, Hani, you're so gullible!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.
