The next morning, I suddenly got woken up when my alarm clock suddenly started blaring, going...

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I groaned and hit the snooze button before pulling the covers over my head and closing my eyes, wanting to sleep for at least five more minutes.

"Honey get up, you have school today " my mom said while walking in my room and turning the light on. I groaned and mumbled a few words. "What? I don't understand what you're saying. Just get up" she said while pulling the covers off me, making me groan. 

I finally opened my eyes slowly before stretching out.

"Why? Why are you torturing me like this?" I complained with another groan. 

My mom rolled her eyes and headed for the door. "Just get ready before you're late" she said, stepping out of my room and shutting the door. 

I got up and dragged myself towards the bathroom before grabbing my toothbrush. I brushed my teeth and then I took a shower. I changed into something casual but pretty, fixing up my hair before grabbing my bag. 

I went downstairs and saw my sister in her uniform. She was watching Disney Channel while eating a bowl of cereal.

"Morning Sofia" I said while kissing her cheek. 

"Morning" she said happily. 

I don't know why she loves mornings. She's the complete opposite of me. I HATE mornings. But she can be literally be up earlier than everyone else in this house. 

I grabbed myself a bowl of cereal and I watched my parents pacing around the room. Walking around the living room, into the kitchen, up to their rooms, grabbing things here and there. 

My dad headed towards the door. "Bye girls" he called out. 

"Dad?" I called him. 

"What?" he asked, turning towards me. 

"You should probably put some shoes on before you leave" I said, pointing towards his feet. 

He looked down and he saw that he was only in socks, his eyes growing wide. "Oh" he said while running back up to his room, making me chuckle.  

My mom came downstairs with her keys and her purse. "Oh, I have something for you" my mom said while digging in her purse. 

She handed me an envelope and I opened it.

It was the ticket to Demi Lovato's concert.

I squealed and jumped on her. "Thanks for buying it mom" I said while hugging her tightly and kissing her cheek. 

"You're welcome" she said while smiling. 

My dad once again came back downstairs and this time he had his shoes on. He said his goodbyes and left in a rush. 

"Sofia come on, let's go" mom said while grabbing Sofia's hand and turning the TV off. 

"Bye. Be good. And lock up the house when you leave" my mom said.
