Danielle:

So I recently found out that Liam and his girlfriend broke up for "unknown reasons". No I did not talk to him. I saw it on the TV  about a month ago when they announced it. The news was not unexpected especially after everything I witnessed but I still couldn't help but feel bad for Liam or think about him. How is he feeling? Is he okay? He must be so heartbroken.

My door flew open and in stepped my sister, my aunt, and my two little cousins.

"Let's get you ready" they all said at the same time while holding up the things they were going to use to help me get ready.

I smiled and they helped me with everything.

"Blue eye shadow" my sister suggested as they did my make up.

"No no no, blue doesn't match. Here, let me do it" my aunt said while grabbing the make up palettes. "I used to work at a beauty shop and I was in charge of doing make up so I know exactly what I'm doing" she added.

She finished up my make up in less than fifteen minutes and I looked in the mirror.

"I love it" I said while smiling. "This is amazing. Thank you" I said.

My two little cousins came over with my heels and handed them to me.

"Thanks" I told them while poking their nose.

I put my heels on while my little cousins started playing with my make up. I went downstairs and my mom was already waiting for me. I went down the stairs and she smiled while clapping her hands excitedly, her eyes welling up with happy tears.

"There's my beautiful girl" my mom said.

"Thanks mom" I said while hugging her.

"Your grandpa would've been so happy to see you like this" she said with a small nod.

"Mom, please don't cry. If you cry then I'll start crying and I'll ruin my make up" I told her.

"We don't want that" she said while smiling and adjusting my hair a bit.

"Okay, now let's give you some advice" my sister said while pulling me towards the living room.

They sat me down on the couch and then they all started talking really fast at the same time.

"If a strange guy that has never spoken to you before comes over and hands you an open glass of 'fruit punch' you smack it right out of his hand" my sister told me.

"Exactly. These boys only go to prom with one thing on their mind so make sure you don't fall for their tricks" my aunt joined in, nodding in agreement.

"Also, I've heard people like to spike the punch with alcohol so be careful with that" my mom added. "Like that movie we saw a while ago" she said.

"Oh, and if you win Prom Queen, make sure you give a really cool speech like in the movies" my sister told me while smiling. "And don't forget to take a pair of flats in case you get tired and want to take your heels off. Don't go barefoot" she added.

"And if you see--

"Wow, wow slow down. Do I have to write all of this down?" I interrupted them, amusement in my tone.

The doorbell rang and I jumped up. I walked over and opened up the door and everyone poked out their heads from behind me to see who it was.

"Prom time" Chloe sang from the front door, waving towards my family.

"A limo?" I gasped as I looked over towards the limo with wide eyes. "Bye guys! I'll make sure to follow all of your wonderful advice" I told them.

"Here you go" my sister said while handing me a pair of flats. "Have fun" she winked.

I stepped outside with Chloe and got into the limo with the rest of the girls.
