Chloe:
It has been two months already and yes today is out prom. I don't really know how I feel but I guess I'm kind of excited. I honestly expected this day to be different but the girls and I have always talked about this day. We wanted our prom to be perfect. But for some reason, I feel like something is missing. A couple of guys from school asked me to prom but I rejected them. None of us have dates to prom so we decided to go together and just have fun like we always do. We don't need boys to go to prom when we have each other.
I looked down at the time and then I started getting ready. I showered and placed my dress on the bed. My phone vibrated and I grabbed it from the night stand. It was another message from Harry. I decided to open it.
From Harry:
Chloe, where are you girls, we really really miss you. Please. Don't do this to us or me. These few months have been weird without you. Please stop ignoring me. If I did anything wrong, just tell me and I promise I'll try to fix it. You never said goodbye.
I sighed and put my phone down. I really miss you too Harry but I can't bring myself to answer right now.
I put my dress on and I looked in the mirror.
"You look beautiful" my mom said while stepping in my room.
"Thanks mom" I said while smiling.
"Why are you sad Chloe?" she asked me curiously.
"I'm not sad" I lied.
"I know my daughter and since you came back from camp, everything has been different. Is it a boy?" she asked.
I turned to face her and I nodded slightly.
"Oh honey, come here" she said while holding her arms open.
I walked up to her and she wiped the tears forming in my eyes.
"If he really cares about you, he'll come to be with you because love always finds it's way through hard times" she said while hugging me.
"Thanks mom" I smiled while hugging her back.
"Now let me help you with your hair and make up" she said, pulling back from the hug.
I sat down in front of my dresser and she stood behind me as he started styling my hair. She applied my make up and then she smiled proudly. She stepped back and admired her work before I stood up. I looked at myself in the mirror and I smiled. "Wow mom, I look beautiful" I told her.
"That's because you are beautiful" she complimented me.
"Where do you think I get it from?" I told her while smiling. "I love you mom. Thank you for everything" I said while hugging her again.
"I love you too, princesa" she said while kissing the top of my head. "Now, let's get you to prom" she said while we pulled back from the hug.
I smiled and grabbed my purse. We went downstairs and met up with my dad, who was waiting at the bottom of the stairs.
"Hello there, beautiful" my dad said while smiling.
"Let's take you a picture" my mom said.
I stood by the stairs and she took out her camera. She started snapping a few pictures and then my little sister ran up to me. "You look beautiful" she said.
She was already in her pajamas and getting ready for bed. "Come here, munchkin" I said while picking her up and kissing her cheek. She giggled and mom snapped another picture. "Be good, okay?" I told my sister while putting her down.
"Okay" she said while smiling.
I hugged her and she ran up the stairs. I walked outside and my eyes grew wide at the sight. "Mom?" I called out.
My mom and dad both walked over and stood by me at the door.
"Yes, we rented a limo. What's from without a fancy limo?" my mom said while smiling. "Now, go have fun" she added.
I hugged them both before stepping outside and getting in the limo.
"Where to first?" the driver asked me.
"To pick up my friends" I said while smiling.
He nodded and started driving.
