Chapter 5: JP Hero Billboard Charts(+Nomu attack)

Y/n's POV:

It had been three months since All Might's retirement. It had also been three months since me and Hawks started dating, and we grew a lot more closer. I was going to Kamino Ward, because Hawks wanted me to go see him at the hero billboard charts. I was a bit reluctant, since the old man was gonna be declared the number 1 hero. But after days of Hawks trying to convince me, I finally gave in. I didn't wanna go alone so I asked Fuyumi to come with. And being the optimistic person she is, she wanted to see dad so she agreed. I was on my phone, texting hawks, while Fuyumi was driving.

I keep my phone back in my purse. A few minutes later, we finally reach there. We find 2 empty seats in the 3rd row and sit down. A few minutes later, the event starts and we see the top 10 heroes standing on the stage. I see Hawks search the crowd, until his eyes finally land on me. He smiles brightly on spotting me, his hands lifting slightly to wave. I smile back at him, waving back. "That was so cute. Look how excited he is to see you." I hear Fuyumi whisper to me. "Hehe." I smile sheepishly as a blush forms on my face.

I look over at my dad and realize he hasn't noticed us yet. I stare at him for a few more minutes, and he must have felt my stare because he looked over at us, finally spotting us. He looked a bit taken aback. As much as I hate him, he's still my father. And I understand how much of a big deal this is to him. So I gave him a small smile before turning my attention back to the other heroes.

The host started introducing the heroes one by one. I yawn slightly, a bit bored. I look over at Hawks and see him chuckling while looking at me. Shit, did he see that? I give an awkward embarrassed smile, before looking back at the other heroes. A bit later, she finally got to Hawks. "Number two! He does things his own way, but he's fierce! With great momentum, he's reached the number 2 spot! Wing hero: Hawks!" The commentator introduces. Hawks stood there with one hand on his hip, while the other rested behind his neck and a bored look on his face. I basically melted at the sight. How can he be so hot!? I accidently let out a dreamy sigh as I watched him. Fuyumi nudged me from beside me, a smirk on her face. "Shush." I mumble, blushing. 

Now was the time to introduce my father. The lights went out and spotlight flashed on him. "He's been the temporary number one, but today.. he's really, truly in the number one spot. He's waited a long time. Flame Hero: Endeavour!" She announces. A few minutes later, I see Hawks whisper something to dad, which he ignores. Hawks brings his fingers to his mouth, zipping it with a smile. "And now, let's have a comment from each person!" I hear. I was pretty bored while the heroes were speaking, and I could tell that Hawks was too. From the faces he made. I giggled slightly at his expressions.
