Two Months after Salem's Death

The world still celebrates Salem's Demise.  The reality of a Grimm free future was something many haven't dreamed of and the fact that the next generation will never have to suffer those vile creatures brought many to tears. The Heralds however burned Mistral to the ground after their razing of Argus. The city's inhabitants either scattered to the wind or mounted a vain defense of thier home. One last Raid before the party that lasted for nearly a week. it was a wonderful time to be alive

But like all good things, they eventually come to a end. The world returns to it's routine in blissful optimism yet for one of the heroines that brought Salem low however. She is about to start her own grueling battle. A battle that no one is ever prepared for.

Yang Pov

Ughhh....I hate life so damn much...Yet I can't bring myself to hate the toilet for it has become my new best friend. Blegh!!! This is utterly awful and I hate my life. I just been really irritable lately and I can't even hold down anything. Even water has been messing me up and I'm growing tired of basically living in the bathroom. Hell! I'm just tired in general.....

Ruby: "YANG!!! GET OUT!!! I'M TAKING YOU TO THE HOSPITAL!!!"

Yang: "I...I..do--"

Ruby: "DON'T GET A CHOICE!!!"

The door is ripped open and my sister looks furious. I'm sorry....I'm feeling really drowsy and lightheaded now. What the hell is going on with me? Things have been rough since I got back from Mistral with Ace and the rest of the Heralds. Even got to partake in the looting and I got to admit that it was kinda fun! Now I know why Buzzy is so fanatical about it. The afterparty was a lot of fun but once it was over, I barely got to see my Ace.... Sure I got to see him from time to time but it was always so awkward...So distant with one another...Fangs I miss those days when 

Ruby: "YANG!!!"

Yang: "huh? What? Where--"

Nurse: "I see what your saying now. We are going to run some tests and get to the bottom of this. How long has then been going on for?'

Yang: "When did we get here?"

Ruby: "I swear...I say...A month and a half and its been getting worse for the past week. She basically lives in the bathroom throwing up. I'm honestly surprise that she didn't throw up her stomach! I heard about those so called 'Model Diets' but SHE DOESN'T NEED THAT NOW DOES SHE!?!?"

Nurse: "I see. I'll tell the doctor so sit tight. Be back shortly."

The nurse leaves the room and I'm honestly stunned I'm here. Been quite a while since I went to the docs being super healthy and all. Fangs this sucks...Wait how did we get here? I guess it doesn't matter now but still. I just assume that Ruby shoved me into her truck. I've never understood why she wanted a Truck of all things. Ugh..I want this to be over with already...

Ruby: "You see what I'm dealing with now. Its been a fun time. I wish this continued forever."

Doctor: "I can see that. She's very unresponsive and her eyes are slightly blurry. Temp is reading 96 and her breathing is shallow. Gonna take some blood and see what's going on. Be back soon."

Yang: "When.."

Ruby: "I have no clue what's going on in your head but it must be really important."

Yang: "I'm sorry Rubes. I've been really out of it today."

Ruby: "You mean all week right? Its fine. I'm here for you always!!!"

I just gave her a hug and it was nice. I've grown to really enjoy giving and receiving hugs. I blame my Ace Y/N completely for this. Neo is also a major part of that as well. I really wish it was Y/N here for me. But, I have my Ruby and I have my  friends to support me! I can get through this! I got through the Grimm and Salem! Some sickness ain't gonna keep me down forever!! Nothing can stop me!
