It was a breezy and warm day for the coastal city of Sidonia. People go about their lives with the usual peace and controlled chaos that is city life. With the disappearance of the Grimm and the threat of any conflict has led to people actually living life. No more worries or fear of a violent future. The entertainment and music industry has took off this past year and trade has flourish with Vale and Menagerie. The people grow rich and happy with the government happily taking their cut if only to pump the money back into the economy and infrastructure. Plans have been proposed to even start the founding of towns which are currently awaiting review. The delay was simple as the King has decided to take the next few days off. Work has been plaguing Y/N and he finds it utterly unreasonable. On this perfect day he took his wife and kids to the beach for a day of fun and relaxation. He will not be denied his family anymore. A shame the older pair of kids decided to be responsible and work. Must get it from thier mother.
Their first hour was as the parents had expected it to go. Cassy was ecstatic as she crawls and rolls about in the sand much to the amusement to her mother. Lynn was terrified of the waves until her dad showed her it wasn't as scary as she thought it was. Still, Lynn joined her sister Cassy rolling about in the sand and would threaten to cry if she is brought close to the waves. Elise was the most uninterested as she sticked to her father's side for the most part if she isn't staring at the ocean. The day was perfect as the couple sits happily upon their beach towel while their children play innocently in front of them. Y/N's only thought is that he should get someone to take a picture. Already has a frame in mind for it.
Yang: "This is nice. Honesty, it was a great idea to skip work."
Y/N: "I don't get enough time with my wife and girls. Didn't feel like staying cooped up indoors and the day is far to nice for that."
Yang: "You just wanted me in a bikini again didn't you?"
Y/N: "Yes! That's a wonderful bonus that makes me happy too. But its about letting the babies have a bit of a adventure. Though remind me to never bring them to the waves again."
Yang: "Yes please don't do that again. Barely two yet your doing something so stupid?"
Y/N: "I repent already! I will never do that again to you my baby girls. I promise!"
Cassy babbles happily while finding out she can make a pile of sand instead of rolling around in it. Lynn would smack the mound her sister is building at random which oddly doesn't anger Cassy as she just builds it again. Elise watches the two with a blank expression.
Yang: "That reminds me Ace. What are you using for your legs?"
Y/N: "Oh? You mean how its not shiny anymore? Sandpaper. Don't want to blind the babies."
Yang: "Yeah don't do that."
The couple enjoyed thier quiet family time to the sounds of crashing waves and a cool breeze. Lynn lets out a yawn and crawls her way to her mother's side and falls asleep on the towel. Cassy followed her sister but wasn't tired enough for a nap and demanded attention from her mother who readily gave it to her. Elise continues to stare absent mindedly at the deep blue ocean. She would look blankly at her father at times who would poke her nose in response. Elise merely stared back and then resumed her watch of the sea. Y/N himself let out a yawn before laying down to take a nap. Elise was quick to climb on her father and rest her head near his heart and fell asleep herself with a big smile on her face.
Yang: "Such a little punk. Were you waiting for that?"
Y/N: "Adorable. I know. Don't be jealous dear. You'll get the chest and snuggle tonight. Let me nap for a hour and then we can head home. I'll make lunch today."
