Jan Shin—Surbhi, what went wrong? When you guys came back I thought you would say yes but you all were so tense and especially Ansh his face looked so sad. Did Ansh do anything wrong that upset him?

Surbhi—no no Mister, I know I will never do anything that would upset me, and I already accepted his proposal.

Jan Shin—Then what's wrong?

Surbhi—My father has already found a groom.

Jan Shin—What? When? Why?

Surbhi— This is because my grandfather had a highly successful diamond business. However, due to the Hindu-Muslim riots, he incurred significant losses. Following this unfortunate turn of events, he transitioned into the import-export business. He had two sons: my father, Adhirit Achari, and Aatreya Achari. When my grandfather passed away, my father and uncle went their separate ways, along with the business. My uncle, unfortunately, resorted to handling the business illegally, engaging in smuggling activities. On the other hand, my father faced business losses and shifted his focus to managing village affairs, accumulating significant debts in the process.

When my powers manifested in me, I was fearful that revealing them would distress my father. Wanting to distance myself, I expressed a desire to move to the city. My father agreed, but with one condition – I had to consent to marry my cousin, who happens to be my uncle's son. This arrangement, according to my father, would help alleviate him from the burden of debt and reclaim our grandfather's entire business.

Jan Shin- This is bullshit!

Surbhi— I am aware, and I have received a message from my father indicating that he wants me to return for a specific religious ceremony. I am quite certain that during this visit, he will inquire about my marriage.

Karan— In that case, we'll all accompany you to your village. I am confident that together, we will find the solution.

Surbhi—(shocked)(looking at a distressed Ansh) When did you guys arrive?

Ansh—from the starting

Surbhi—(worriedly) Ansh, I apologize. I didn't inform you beforehand because I feared that disclosing this information would jeopardize my relationship with you. I was afraid of losing you, and for that, I am truly sorry.

Ansh-Surbhi, compared to my father's situation, this may not seem significant, but when you didn't tell me, my mind conjured up various worst-case scenarios. I began to think that you didn't trust me enough to share your problems or believe in our ability to solve them together. I am relieved to know that it's not as dire as my imagination led me to believe. And I am thankful for that so Let's work together to find a solution to this problem.

Monami—But how are you guys going to enter the village?

Surbhi—the way you will enter Monami, I will tell my father that they are my coworkers.

Jan Shin—Am I invited?

Surbhi—Of course you soon will by my father-in-law, right?

Ansh—Huh what?

***

Aatreya—Adhirit confirmed that his daughter is coming.

Yuvan—Yes, father, but the bird is coming with her flock.

Aatreya—don't worry we know how to handle a bird's neck, and you know how to take care of garbage.
