I awoke on that strange spring morning, the last day of school. I opened my window and looked at Bekoborough, my neighborhood. It's more like an overpopulated city block, but to me, it's home.

I rush down the hall and wake my brother.

"Wake up Louis, time for school." I say blatantly. If there's anything harder than waking up a 16 year old, I don't know what it is.

"Later, when I care." He replies half asleep.

"But you're graduating today, you can't be late. Marina will be there..." I say in a heavenly voice.

At this he jumps out of bed, and faster than you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, he's dressed in his graduation gown and I throw his graduation cap to him.

"Goober!" I taunt. He would do anything for Marina, his high school sweetheart.

Oh, by the way, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Itsa. I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. I skipped a year. I am a bookworm, a video game master, and a girl who is a mega fan of Disney.

I slide down the hall on a piece of paper, then go into my room. I change into a yellow t-shirt with a red and blue butterfly on it, with green cargo pants and purple tennis shoes. I put my hair into a low pony with a yellow headband.

As I placed the yellow headband onto my head, I poked myself.

"Ow! What was that?" I exclaim.

I reach on top of my head and feel around. I don't feel anything else so I shrug it off and head upstairs.

I make myself a banana peanut butter sandwich with some milk and sit down at the table. When I sit down though, my back starts hurting really bad. I try stretching it, and it feels better.

"Weird..." I whisper.
