I awoke that next morning, feeling exasperated. So much to do in so little time. I guess it didn't matter if I did my homework before I left. I mean, if I'm just going to become someone else in a new place, why not start early?

The day of forget was here. My family wouldn't be my family anymore. Everything was packed up and ready. I was in a nice uniform to wear to the island. The pains in my head and back were growing stronger everyday.
If only it didn't happen. Even if I only had a couple of friends here, they were awesome. I grew up here. Looks like I'll have puberty at the island.
It happened all so quickly. They walked into the house, sprayed some specifically coded amnesia dust on my family, even the dog. Then, they helped me with my stuff and I drove away from 472 Wicker Avenue.
I mostly slept to ease the pain of my body, heart, and mind. Before I knew it, I was on a bed in the presidential suite of the S.S. Esther.
There was a, I guess you could say, maid, in my room. She didn't look human though. She had a squirrel tail protruding from the small of her back, and chipmunk ears coming out of the top of her head. I was utterly confused. Was I going to become a humanoid-chipmunk thing?
"Hallo! May I get you anything?" She said in a squeaky voice.
"Um, no thanks... not to be rude or anything, but what are you?" I replied and asked meekly.
"Well, I am a morphed! I was taken to the island about 5 years ago when I was diagnosed. I came from France!" She replied. That's what the accent was!
"So, what kinds of pains are you having? It might help me discover what you are.""Well, mostly in my head and back, but now that I think about it, my voice sounds a tad different." I realized.
"Oh! You kind of sound like a bird or horse, or maybe both? I think you might be turning into a pegasus-morphed!" She exclaimed, "That's one of the most esquisite!"
"Really?" I pondered.
"Most likely guess!" She says.
Wow. Never thought I would be a pegasus. But then a sudden scarring pain hits my forehead, and the room goes black.
