Nathan's aspects

Two days passed since Peter left to seek out Stryker and end this fight once and for all, Lauryn had been intent on searching for him only for her to witness his demise as she was forced to see him being shot by a couple of Stryker's men, her only attempt to save him was stopped after I quickly grabbed her then pulled her close to me.

The soldiers walked away from his now lifeless body or so they thought but he fought for his life and Lauryn ran to his side as she cradled his head on her forearm.

Lauryn: Peter, please say something...

I watched as he coughed up blood before speaking softly to her.

Peter: you shouldn't be here...

Lauryn: of course I should, why did you leave?

Peter: to keep you and the others safe...

Lauryn: everyone is safe, Professor Xavier come back for them and for us Pete. Please get up and come with us, he can save you.

Peter: I'm afraid it's to late to save me but Nathan will look after you from now on...

Lauryn: I love you Peter, please don't leave me I need you...

Peter: I love you too Lauryn, please forgive me.

Lauryn: I forgive you but there is something I wanted to tell you before you leave...

Nathan: keep fighting Peter, help is almost here.

Lauryn: I'm pregnant Peter...

Peter: watch over my family Nathan...

I watched as his hand slowly slipped out of Lauryn's grasp indicating that he was gone, I bent down and pulled her close to me while she cried on my chest. I knew that she was heartbroken by watching him die in her arms and I wasn't about to force her to stop crying after watching her lover die in front of her.

Professor Xavier along with Rogue approached us and seen Peter covered in his own blood after being shot multiple times in his chest, Rogue carefully helped Lauryn walk away from the sight while Xavier was saddened by seeing his lifeless body laying in a heap of blood and snow that surrounded the place.

Xavier: come my boy, enough blood has been spilled today. Let's get out of here.

Nathan: what's going to happen with the others now that Stryker has them in his control?

Xavier: they will be freed again but as for right now, us being here isn't the best idea. Let's go home.
