Nathan's journal
Several months passed since Lauryn watched Peter die in her arms, Xavier had found us a new place to call home. Lauryn had been spending most of her time preparing for the arrival of the baby, I decided to see how she was doing when I seen her sitting in the window while she looked out into the courtyard. I was about to leave her alone to think when she seen me standing outside the door of her bedroom.
Lauryn: you can come Nathan, it's okay.
Nathan: I was just seeing how you were doing...
Lauryn: his death is something that I'm still getting over but I know everything is going to be okay with time...
Nathan: before he left, he asked me to look after you but I don't want to overstep any boundaries...
Lauryn: I promise you won't be overstepping any boundaries, you are a good friend Nathan and Peter obviously seen that in you if he asked you to do that for him...
Nathan: I don't know what you and him had went through before we met but I can be more than a friend if you give me a chance.
Lauryn: I appreciate you checking on me and all but I'm not ready for a new relationship, I need more time Nathan...
I was about to say something else when I heard professor Xavier clearing his throat.
Xavier: I hate to interrupt but there is someone here to see you Lauryn.
I walked alongside of her as she followed close behind the professor while he led us to a small room that he turned into his office.
Xavier: I will leave you two alone to talk, come Nathan there are things we need to discuss...
