(Before we begin, I just want to say that I really just didn't start writing until a week after I said I started writing this chapter, I deadass forgotten about it for a while. but thank you for your patience, now let's begin!)

A day has gone by ever since Y/n awakened to his Persona, he's been hospitalized because of it. He begins to wake up, he looks around the room in a confused state, he see's Yukari looking at him with a worried look on her face.

Yukari: "Are you awake?!"

she sighs and smiles

Yukari: "How do you feel?"

Y/n: "Where am I?"

Yukari: "The hospital. It's about time you woke up! I thought you were gonna sleep forever! Still, I'm glad you're okay. You really had me worried!"

Y/n: "Worried?"

Yukari: "Look, I'm sorry I wasn't much help on the roof. I was told to protect you, but I..."

Y/n: "Don't worry about it. I wasn't really counting on you. To be honest, I really did not care if I was going to die... But for some reason, I felt like I needed to live..."

Yukari: "Wait, you really didn't care if both of us were going to die? And then you just felt like you needed to stay alive?"

Y/n: "Pretty much. I don't really know how to explain it though..."

Yukari thinks about what Y/n is telling her. in some sort of way... she kind of relates to him. She looks into his eyes and says...

Yukari: "I don't mean to spring this on you, but I'm like you. The thing is, I heard about you're past. You're parents died in an explosion here ten years ago, right?"

Y/n: "Yeah."

Yukari: "I lost someone too. My father died in that accident. I hated having you at a disadvantage like that, so I have been itching to tell you. I'm sorry I hid it from you. All the other stuff too."

Y/n: "Other stuff? What other stuff?"

Yukari: "When you get back to the dorm, I think they'll explain everything to you. You can decide what you want to do after that. Take care."

Yukari leaves the room for a little while. Y/n lays on the bed thinking about something. He truly doesn't really care about anything, but now he's feeling something different. It's something that he doesn't really understand... He's made two new friends. But he isn't all that confident that they'll be around for much longer. He thinks they might abandon him just like most people in his life has done before. A couple hours later, Y/n is released from the hospital. Yukari walks him back. When they arrive at the dorms, Yukari knocks on the door.

Ikutsuki: "Come in."

The two enter. Y/n see's Akihiko, Mitsuru, Ikutsuki and Makima sitting down together. They might have been waiting for him a long time.

Ikutsuki: "Hello. My name is Shuji Ikutsuki. I am your school's chairman of the board. Besides me, the only other unfamiliar faces are Senada-kun, correct?"

Akihiko: "I'm Akihiko Senada, good to meet you."

Makima: "Please. have a seat, L/n-kun."

As Y/n and Yukari sat down on the couch, Makima looks at Y/n with a soft smile.

Makima: "L/n, have you ever known that there are more than 24 hours in a day?"

Y/n: "hmm... Maybe."

Yukari: "You know about the Dark Hour?!"

Y/n: "I don't know how it started, but I've known for as long as I can remember."

Ikutsuki: "I see, so you are aware that it is a hidden period in time. It is the time between one day and the next that appears only to those with the potential. We call it the Dark Hour."

Makima: "And you seen to have that potential, L/n-kun. Ordinary humans are unaware of it. Because they are normally asleep in coffins."

Mitsuru: "However, that isn't the problem."

Ikutsuki: "You've seen them, right? Those monsters. We call them Shadows."

Mitsuru: "Those Shadows only appear in the Dark Hour and attack anyone that's not in a coffin. All those people in the news lately that are suffering from Apathy Syndrome are probably victims of these Shadows."

Ikutsuki: "Allow me to come to the point. We are the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, SEES. Officially, we are a school club, but in reality, we are dedicated to defeating the Shadows."

Y/n: "Defeating the Shadows?"

Ikutsuki: "There are actually only a handful who are able to function during the Dark Hour. Such people have potential powers that can defeat the Shadows."

Y/n: "You mean Personas?"

Ikutsuki: "Yes. In short, only people like you can defeat them."

Akihiko: "What do you say? Sounds fun, doesn't it?"

Mitsuru: "Akihiko! You just got hurt the other day!"

Ikutsuki: "To sum it up, We'd like you to join us."

Ikutsuki hands Y/n a briefcase. Y/n opens it to see a gun, a holster, and a S.E.E.S armband.

Ikutsuki: "I've had an Evoker made for you, as well. I want you to help us."

Y/n: "Understood..."

Yukari: "Are you sure? Just like that?"

Mitsuru: "We appreciate it. We need all the help we can get."

Akihiko: "That's an interesting ability that you have."

Makima: "But Shadows aren't really the only threat. So are Devils, except they can appear at any time, not just the Dark Hour. I am not a member of SEES, I am apart of The Public Safety Devil Hunters, I lead all of Division 4's operations. We assist SEES with eradicating Shadows, and they assist us with eradicating Devils."

Y/n: "So I'll also be helping with killing Devils and Shadows?"

Makima: "Pretty much. For one fear, there is one Devil. Devils are created from a human's biggest fears. A Devil can gain strength from a human's fear. The more humans that fear a Devil, the stronger that Devil becomes."

Y/n: "I have a question..."

Makima: "Ask away."

Y/n: "Why did you decide to be a teacher on the side?"

Makima: "So I can stay close to SEES and give you all as much information on specific Shadows as I can, with an exchange for loyalty to me of course."

Y/n: "hm..."

Y/n is skeptical about this, but doesn't question it.

Yukari: "Don't worry you'll get used to that, Y/n-kun."

Y/n: "Uhh... Okay..."

Ikutsuki: "Then it's settled. We're all looking forward to be with you, L/n-kun."

Y/n for some reason smiles... but that doesn't last for too long though. Makima gets up and is about to leave, she turns to Yukari and Y/n.

Makima: "It was nice seeing you, but I have to go now. Have a goodnight, L/n-kun, Takeba-chan. I'll see you both tomorrow."

Makima leaves, Everyone chats for a little while and then heads to sleep. Makima on the other hand, she's thinking about Y/n. She's starting to become obsessed with him. She now wants him to be hers and hers alone. And she'll do just about anything to make sure that happens...
